Aww, that's a nice, heartwarming moment. And Sasha isn't totally clueless, just not picking up on Kevin ngs signals.

King will always be a little human at heart. This is a sweet moment l. A father, his son, and their not-a-pet.

Huh.

She's... A lot more socially intelligent than I think I gave her credit for.

Honestly at this point I'm expecting her to be some savant upon the ivory keys.

That's actually canon, yugijak. She winged a beautiful piece in a few minutes on a toy piano.

It's cute how there's leaves to as snow-dog ears. It's a lot better for Kings sanity than Peanut ears.

Bonding over a snow...cat(?)
the words are finally through;
he wasn’t trying to hurt you,
it just somehow seemed like that.
He needed to find a way
to tell you of his fears;
that you’d roll back the years
and return to ‘dad’ one day.
He knows he needs to show
you how to become anew,
to bring the beauty through
and let your personality grow.
Stick with King. dear girl,
he’ll help you to come good
(like Lana knew he would)
so you can give new fun a whirl!

Actually, she's not inept at all. She speaks dog, and just in the arc Bailey and Natalie understood her just fine. King is thd inept one. He has never fully integrated with being a dog. It's possible he can't or just keeps resisting, but he is still too human in his head.

For the most part, this isn't a problem for King because the other pets are raised around humans and the ones who don't know he was human know his owner was odd. Sasha could not adjust her thinking to King because, I think, she was raised with a poor owner and poor example. That, and she isn't aware of Kngs past.

Sasha really is a lovely creature - I'm intrigued to see how the stick game works, but - hey - the snow person turned out fine.

Glad it worked out. Of course it only takes a simple explanation, but King's kidding himself - he wants to forgot about the kisses and poppies. :3

I think it's also adorable how she makes her own statement about not going back and then asking if he is okay with something.
It really shows she never meant to put him into a bad position.

Sounds to me like a normal game of fetch, but with Sasha being self-aware about this behaviour:

Aw, sweet strip. Glad King and Sasha seem to be coming to an understanding.

I can imagine them already:
"I brough' i'h ba'h!"
"Okay Sasha give it... giiiive it"
"You're doing it wrong, king, you're supposed to pull it with your mouth so we can tug of war"
"...can't I tug of war with my hands? Hey, don't touch my mouth!"

It's good that Sasha got out... I don't think she could've lasted longer.

Yeah that sounds right. Even still I think this did highlight some important problems she has.

Although I am kind of more referring to her statement about never going back. This means that she knew she didn't deserve poor treatment but I imagine did not know a way out of her situation.

So when one presents itself she jumps on it. I also like to think she's getting to open up and relax. Be herself as opposed to being on 'good behavior' or what have you under her owner.

Maybe she likes to play tug-of-war with the stick, too. Been a while since King and Fox tussled over a squeeky toy.

Now that is another worry that King doesn't have to think about since Sasha said she is never going back to her abusive owner so he can get the **** over himself. :D

Good to see them better together now. :) Yeah, for King it was more a fear of worrying for Sasha and for what she could do successively, than just self embarrassment... You mean her old life with her owner, King? Nobody would even think to go back to such bad life conditions, neither Sasha. ;) Right, adjusting takes time, and I guess Sasha is now in a point of no return. Eheh, she wants always to play, be happy, and behave like a real dog holding the stick between the jaws. :D Throw her this stick, King, come on. :P
