I'm guessing this is temporary. No way this lasts through the night. Also Keys is being smart. He has other people to protect him.

Smart move Jasper, and two brothers taking opposite approaches to this

The only logical explanation is he couldn't find fresh water

I.
Ship.

At the end of the arc "The Gallifax Protocol", Maxwell and Dragon have a couple of panels together in her distinctly teen-age bedroom that are actual quite touching and beguiling...…. Then she wakes him up, poor dear.

Actually in valerio's fanfic that he wrote a few years ago I distinctly remember him making Max and Dragon a couple because Peanut and Grape actually were an item when they were at the farm.

Maxwell is doing good for himself so far.

Maybe Uncle Deadeye was hunting for Jata.

That was one of many clever variations in Valerio's work - I enjoyed that very much.

I mostly enjoyed the addition of Fido, Bino and Joey's older brother Fino who seemed to be the ace at everything and was one who the animals liked a lot and that also includes Bino.

Oh Fritzy, I do hope that you can come back to the forum soon. I wanna learn more about Fino. xD

Jack and Jess share a mutual feeling of distrust :D

I questioned it before this Hunger Games even began, sooo....

Image
The side characters team up for the night. And Squeak probably doesn't want to get stepped on during the night....probably

Image
Karaoke night!
The 2nd group seems to have put their differences aside for once, which is nice to see :D

Typical Sabrina move -- she won't hurt anyone herself, but she'll ruin others' odds of survival. Take notes, Tarot and Peanut ;)

Just so I know, Peanut actually KILLED Keene right? Not strangled him into unconsciousness and dumped his stunned body somewhere?

Poor Zach. And Tarot is like, making alliances with a lot of people, so I think she's planning something big...

Image
Guys, scaring the crap out of each other isn't the best idea right now

Day 3 has begun! At this rate it's gonna take weeks for everyone to get eliminated
Image
Didn't she do this anyway...?

Image
Yup. After strangling Keene, just go pick flowers why don't ya

Image
Interesting alliance from King and Jasper. Maybe King just figured someone who never talks can't kill him

Image
NO! KEYS! You broke your pacifist ways, and this is what you get! Also Marvin is racking up the kills, on purpose this time...probably with the shovel still

Looks like with that ladies and gentleman, we have a few more deaths. It looks like now the game is starting to get a bit more violent. That makes things interesting! Never had it in Peanut to kill someone.

Grape – Fell into a pit dug by Marvin and broke her neck
Duchess – Stabbed with a tent spike by Bailey
Kitsune – Strangled by Tarot after being knocked out with a sucker punch
Lucretia – Fell into a pit dug by Marvin and sustained a fatal skull fracture
Bailey – Stabbed with a trident by Jata
Keene – Strangled with a rope by Peanut
Kevin – Bludgeoned with a shovel by Marvin
Keys – Knocked out with a shovel then buried alive by Marvin

No reanimation for him. He suffocated under the dirt. He was killed with a shovel, but not directly with it.

Having spent the last two days stumbling around with a snow shovel, I can appreciate the irony of a pianist losing his life to an entrenching tool.... ;)

The day of the dead has come!

Image
C'mon Squeak! Dallas just wants to team up!

Image
....I hope Tarot loses. Clearly she's jealous about Res saving the day in the temple. Which would mean Dallas could be next since he teleported everyone out. :?

Image
I'm ok with this

Image
Fiddler heard about Keys, Fido has had it rough the whole time, Steward is probably just tired of this, and Falstaff was questioning his insanity soooo

Image
I am not in the least bit surprised by this. I'm guessing Karishad tried stealing supplies, Deadeye went after him, Cerebus tried to protect him, and they both died. Still sad to see Kari go :9

Well, the deaths for today are already at an all-time high, and I'm betting this isn't the last of them for Day 3!

Ptah – Stabbed with a wooden spear by Lester
Fiddler – Suicide by nightlock berry poisoning
Fido – Suicide by nightlock berry poisoning
Stewart – Suicide by nightlock berry poisoning
Falstaff – Suicide by nightlock berry poisoning
Karishad – Drowned in a reservoir by Deadeye
Cerberus – Pushed off a cliff by Deadeye

So far we had 3 falls, 3 stabbings, 2 strangulations, 2 bludgeoning, 1 suffocation, 4 poisonings and 1 drowning.

Sounds like an episode of Game of Thrones.

This is getting bloody, also both Max’s girlfriend and his favorite author have been killed. He might be out for blood.

So much death, hardly seems forum appropriate. Tarot is a worryingly talented killer, and I didn't think the pets were grim enough to form a suicide pact.

Yeah, suicide was an unexpected option - didn't happen in the movies as best I recollect.

I don't think that anybody was stabbed with a tent spike in the movies either but that is what Bailey did apparently (since she had no weapon of than the camping equipment and Deadeye didn't have any weapons either so I had to improvise with Cerb and Kari's deaths).

I just figured since the whole premise of the game was elimination of one's rivals through assorted forms of killing, murder, and treachery, suicide ran counter to the whole idea of a competitive contest. But, hey, maybe I'm just being too literal and unimaginative. ;)

Well this all Imaginate, and keep in mind Grape hung herself in "And then there were none", so suicide isn't really as bad as you think.

I actually was pretty disappointed when Rick put together that Imaginate! arc for "And Then There Was None". He really didn't do most of the deaths correctly from the story. That just made me annoyed. I realize he couldn't do the deaths EXACTLY like in the book itself but it seemed like he took a lot of creative license. One of the arcs I didn't like that much. I do know he had a lot of constraints so I understand before anybody decides to tear me down for daring to dislike an arc.

Some times folks just gotta "agree to disagree" and move on briskly. That's why I prefer not to get into contentions unless something seems really out of place.
