They might still get their answers, they'll just have to wait for him to haunt the Earth again.fenrirblack wrote:Keene kinda deserves it in that last panel but if he dies then they won't get their answers.
Well someone has to put the cookies in the oven so their guests can have some when they’re still warm and freshly baked.dr_eirik wrote:Just not sure what Breel is doing while this is going on. I expect still baking cookies.
...or maybe to that other place. Eudoant will be soooooo pleased!Gameb18oy wrote:... welp, Keene, looks like you're getting another trip to heaven
I'm inclined to say that—at least as of yet—this might be the best strip I have seen as well. It's certainly up there amongst my favourites already.Char89Charizard wrote:This is honestly the best strip I've ever seen. If Lois threatens to eat Keene, well it would make Keene wet his pants, so to speak. XD
But—and I know Lois wouldn’t care, much less understand, but—how would that make Breel feel after giving up Heaven to be with him?Gameb18oy wrote:... welp, Keene, looks like you're getting another trip to heaven

It's also a bit of Keene getting comeuppance for years of scheming. He's been behind so many things that he's either gotten away with or been able to get away with with only a slap on the wrist that seeing him in peril is weirdly satisfying. Even if, for once, I don't think he's as involved as Marion and Lois think. If he was, I doubt that he'd have been home baking cookies.OctoDoggo wrote:I also liked this comic way more than I probably should of. Also all of those faces were done great, I could feel the smugness r a d I a t I n g off of Marion. Also I don’t blame Lois for the death-grip
I lean toward thinking that it's a bit of both. We know that Marion had some squirrly instincts right off the bat (climbing the tree while in a blind panic) so I think she has lost it a bit.Robotech_Master wrote:I'm wondering whether Lois is just having an angry moment or, as I proposed in my sonnet, her new hunting cat instincts are getting the better of her.

I suspect she might even feel bad about this later, or perhaps a touch confused.
Companionship, snuggles, and kissing.Argent wrote:What's the point of having a mini-wolverine for a boyfriend if he won't save you from bobcats?
I think he has already chosen... poorly.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Keene had better choose his next words that he is gonna say very carefully unless he wants an angry woman turned male bobcat to start tossing him around like a ragdoll.
They probably met when Marion was being inducted into the ECP. This isn't the only implied off-panel interaction Lois has had, she's also apparently met King.dr_eirik wrote:For that matter, I wonder if he'd even met her as a human. We certainly didn't see it in the comic, but Keene wouldn't have had to have met her to be aware of her.
I assumed she was still at the police station when King showed up, or if she wasn't, Marion told her about him later.dr_eirik wrote:I think he has already chosen... poorly.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Keene had better choose his next words that he is gonna say very carefully unless he wants an angry woman turned male bobcat to start tossing him around like a ragdoll.
Not that Keene isn't prone to paw-in-mouth, but I think if he even had the slightest inkling this was Lois that he'd have said things more carefully. For that matter, I wonder if he'd even met her as a human. We certainly didn't see it in the comic, but Keene wouldn't have had to have met her to be aware of her.
