That Sonic movie looks pretty lousy, it looks like they are trying to emphasize their rivalry with Nintendo, which seems odd for a movie. Maybe it’ll end up being good, but the first look is rather disconcerting, we’ll see, I guess.

Guys, I just rediscovered my old Zelda fanfic. Should I share it or should I burn it and throw in the abysmally abysmal abyss with Teen Titans Go?

I doubt that ANYTHING could be as bad as Teen Titans Go! Seriously, how did they get a theatrical movie and have been running for several seasons? Dom't get me started on the pod shots they take at the original series.

Up to you whether or not you want to share it. If it was an early work, it's practically expected that it won't be the best.

They, nothing can take the original show from you. The show is unaffected by bad spinoffs!

They just need to FIRE the CEO who has decided it would be a good idea to run marathons of it over and over.

To think, CN's Network Decay started because of the ATHF movie bomb scare of 2007.

TTG I think but the fact that they make fun of the older fans and fans of the previous show is a sore spot.

So today, let me tell you where I am at.

1) Fifth anniversary of my maternal grandfather's death
2) My mother's friend who has terminal brain cancer had two strokes and is in an assisted living home and now going to be put into a hospice
3) My paternal grandmother fell and fractured her vertebra
4) I learned AFTER the fact that a relative on my dad's side who he didn't know (his father's brothers wife) died and he went to the wake and then came back and said "I didn't really know her" which is charming. Said relative would have been my auntie Pat

Its a wonder today I could even get out of bed.

Never was a Pokemon fan, although my kids were, and never intended to see the movie in a theatre. Still, a lot of folks in the Forum were really looking forward to it so I'm sorry the production proved so disappointing.

Amazee, I'm so sorry for your difficulties. Sometimes, a little extra under-the-blanket time is a wise response to overwhelming sadness. You'll shoot through it all, I know.

Just curious what do you mean by "under-the-blanket" time? As I said before, I am a little slow on the uptake.

"Under-the-blanket" time = slang for staying in bed a little longer than usual. Kind of a regional term, like New Englanders saying "Wicked" when something's really great.

Say … if "Voting's Hard" like it says in the title, what're we voting on? (I confuse so easily...….. )

I think that it is supposed to be a witty title because the other chat threads did have them.

Though after two years I was thinking that it would have been moved on to a new number but it might not be happening since the person who made this thread no longer posts here.

One of the suggestions for this was "Good Ol' Forumites Club." The "Voting's Hard" part I think was in reference to Mr. London in the comic who somehow failed basic math reading. Or maybe it was a close tie with another? Eh, sure digging somewhere could prove enlightening.

Several people, including mods, didn't like the word "forumites." So ArcWolf laid claim to the new title. Also, I don't know how long a chat is kept alive. The last one lasted quite a while.

No option won the vote, so Arc had to choose his own title. The threads are/were retired after 50 pages. This one isn't even close. We used to go through at least one a week.
