Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

thats not a superpower, that's just owning a still centrifuge and a lighter...

the ability to part bodies of water telekineticaly so long as they are a maximum of 1 millimeter deep.

That is actually a decent power. Not a terrible one. Good attempt though.

that's actually not terrible, as it would be really useful for dodging. it would be as if you can see every attack coming a few seconds ahead, and the cool-down is short enough that by the time they start their next strike you can use it again.

Just what I need, nausea.

The ability to stare directly at the sun without taking damage, but you can never look away from the sun or you burn up.
If I hit someone with a dictionary is that physical, or verbal assault?
