Title Text: Hello darkness my old friend
I've come to stalk in you again
Because a cougar softly creeping
Is the reason I am sneaking
It was at this moment that Gale knew, she done goofed.
Also, big fan of the Disturbed cover of that song.

My thoughts exactly. x3Welsh Halfwit wrote:{GASP!} Poncho is.... NAKED?![]()

Ohyes... I really dunno what version I like better. Simon and Garfunkel or Disturbed.D-Rock wrote:Also, big fan of the Disturbed cover of that song.![]()

That IS Deadeye! No eyes seen in silhouette, flowing cape, and the only wolf (other than maybe Miles) that scares Gale.Iceheart wrote:I was really expecting a cut away to Deadeye back at the house sensing a disturbance and arriving to save his pack single-handedly

You mean to tell me that you don't find "oh, carp" moments funny?Zack_the_husky wrote:This is way too ominous, and not nearly comedic enough to balance it out...

For #6; perhaps she does not feel she has weakened the pack enough yet. At the time where she starts stalking Poncho and Northstar, we know that there are still 4 wolves in the area (Poncho, Northstar, Miles, and Lucretia). If it is her and Peublo vs the wolves, they still have her out numbered. If she can pick off Northstar and Poncho though, then she is on a much more level playing field when it comes time to confront Miles and Lucretia.fenrirblack wrote:Wait, I have some questions.
1. When did he have time to make that thing if Gale’s been watching them the whole time?
2. Did they know she was stalking them or did they just know that there was something but didn’t know who or what it was?
3. If don’t they defeat Gale in ten minutes they go running to Miles for help?
4. When did Poncho become so cool?
5. If Poncho wanted a mate then why was he so reluctant to join the camping trip? He complained about there only being humans and dogs but still didn’t want to return the wild. Where else was he going to find a mate?
6. Why is Gale still trying to capture the wolves when she clearly has weakened the pack enough that she has the advantage now? She should have stopped while she was ahead.
7. Where is Pueblo?

I find that very funny. I also have a twisted sense of humor. I think the Poltergeist is a comedy.D-Rock wrote:You mean to tell me that you don't find "oh, carp" moments funny?Zack_the_husky wrote:This is way too ominous, and not nearly comedic enough to balance it out...

He clearly doubled back in such a way that it led onto Poncho's trail, look I only have so much space to work withCHAOKOCartoons wrote:...what if she went off to look for North Star instead?

Who ever said they were the good guys? Miles is out there to teach them how the wild works. No good guys, no bad guys, just those who eat and those who get eaten.Champion Wallace wrote:I'm looking forward to see what Poncho and Northstar's plan is now. They tricked Gale, showed her they're smarter then she thought and shook her off their trail, but what does that do for them? The only thing I can think of is they used the time Gale was stalking shrubbery to subdue Pueblo and are going to trade him for the release of the pack. This is a bit meta, but I don't that is their plan either because I don't think the "good guys" would capture a child for a hostage negotiation.
They are the good guys because we perceive them as the good guys. Plus this isn't a game of who eats who. Gale is kidnapping the wolves for the sole reason they were trespassing on what she believes is her territory and because they have history between them. In the wild a cougar would just kill the wolves not throw them in a pit. We as a society perceive Gales actions as "evil" or "bad" because that is what we were told. She is acting out of her own petty desire and not because of the natural order.TeflonCougar wrote:Who ever said they were the good guys? Miles is out there to teach them how the wild works. That’s what I’m going with.NHWestoN wrote:Hadn't noticed Poncho's body scar - figure he got it in the same scrap that earned Gale that facial slash?
Territory and territorial disputes are pretty much a major feature of conflict in the natural order. The human order, too.
