Photoshopping Housepets!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
No telling what may happen when you cross universes.
COMPLETELY winged the design, really. Only had a head shot to work with.
EDIT: Fixed some, but still made some changes to Buster's design.
Starring GameCobra and Buster.

Poor Gamecobra.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Not the first time i did this.
Also - my box.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
...dang it, you just reminded me that there IS an image of your character in a box. Should have used that.
Eh, not feeling like doing any more changes. Let's just see who else I go for.

Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I'd make related "head" jokes, but they're below me.
No they're not.
"Seems he really made you lose your head!"
"Told you that you'd lose your head if it wasn't attached to your body!"
What? Karishad was the base here, what'd you expect?

Oh snap, I've officially been photoshopped. Only to be showed up by Chaoko. Figures

Peanut in a nutshell:
Sasha performs Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer:
Tommy is gonna go dance, union men on Shrek
He's down on his luck, it's tough, so tough
Cheetah was a Tylenol baby, working for her man
She brings home her bay, for love, for love

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Made a Housepets version of that "Conflict In Literature" meme.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I had to look for the original one, nice idea.
It made me think also of Man vs Food, anyway.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Trust me, this was not easy. Finally found a use for a special plug-in I had to render a new background in that third panel after removing the hat.
This is an actual alternate pallet I made for Macabre when whipping up pallets for that fighting game thing for the fun of it. It'll need simplification in the off chance that it happens.
So yeah, apparently today is Day of the Dead, and I love the ornate designs of sugar skulls. I also made a "chocolate" variant.
And Chaoko, it's weird to translate the coconut helmet on these, your mascot has a near perfectly round face, none of the pets have that.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Those colorations are just jaw- dropping !! My dog and cat used to snuggle like that sometimes. The cat was older, so maybe secure enough to tolerate canine affection, and the dog is as calm as ocean fog.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
While making this, I realized that I never made a set look for the skull helmet. Also, as much as the final product looks pretty good, it's tedious to edit in the headwear and erase the hair.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Maybe. But it worked !!!!

What is it about legal contracts and sledgehammer wielded by small furry mammals that is so dad-blaghed alarming?

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
You know, this makes me wonder. If it had been Chaoko and not Rocky that fell, would the coconut have come off? And what would have been underneath?D-Rock wrote:DED.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Well, Hlaroo, there are a handful of images of the Chaokat without the coconut, as that was a later addition to his design. https://www.housepetscomic.com/forums/v ... 09#p771609
And great job on making Diss here, NaF. I considered adding him into these pseudo-adventures, but I'm not skilled enough to pull that alteration off.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Ah, cool. ^^ Thanks, Rocky!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
And now we finally continue our adventures. Brent to the rescue!
...I let this go for two days.
Anyway, next one of these I do, I'll be rolling out Rocky's new design.
This was horrendously more frustrating to make than you think. Lots of ear panels to fix, lots of stuff to add, and very small color areas when I got the outline. I gave up on Star's elongated cheek fur and making ANY of the ears right. Add in that two days ago I got the outline finished and complete, started on colors, only to accidently close out of my program without saving.
