Gary went pale as he saw Maple running. Towards him. That cat meant no good! It can either be a super-glomp or a kick to the face like earlier. Or perhaps even something worse. He jumped behind Yukiko, and just peeked over her shoulder, holding his paws on it.
Aahh! Yuko, protect me! You know kung-fu, right? Everyone from Japan knows it!

Gary went pale as he saw Maple running. Towards him. That cat meant no good! It can either be a super-glomp or a kick to the face like earlier. Or perhaps even something worse. He jumped behind Yukiko, and just peeked over her shoulder, holding his paws on it.

Yukiko clenched her fist at that comment, "Anata wa baka desu! (You are an idiot)" She said as she grabbed Gary's wrist and flipped him over her head in front of her, caught him before he fell and pushed him towards Maple.

Jake held Sunni's paw, laughing as he watched Maple take off after Gary. "So energetic," he mused. The arctic wolf turned back to Bolly and Bullet. "It was nice meeting you all but I need to take Sunni home now. " He chuckled a bit when he suddenly got an idea to Sunni's strange behavior. "I think the summer heat might be getting to her..."

Gary had no idea what Yukiko just said, and even before he was able to ask, she did something to him, and soon after that, he found himself in front of her, facing Maple.
Yuko, you're evil!
There was clearly one more thing left to do. Gary relaxed his body, letting himself fall to the side, pretending to be dead. He peeked with one eye, to see what Maple is up to.

((Note: Gary is just half-serious when it comes to Maple. He doesn't really think she's dangerous.))

Maple ran full speed straight towards Gary, but when she got close she slowed down to a brisk walk, when she got close enough she hugged his right leg softly, nuzzling a little bit before asking "Where did you run off to?" she asked, still nuzzling.

(#1 rule of Maple: shes unpredictable)

As Maple got closer, Gary grit his teeth and closed his eyes, expecting her to jump on him. But instead, he felt just tugging on his leg. Slowly, his eyes opened, looking down. Maple was just hugging his leg. That was all. Nothing life-risky. He sighed with relief.
Oh... W-wait. Yukiko was right! Those Japanese were always smarter, so I guess their pets are smarter, too....

Where did you run off to?

Gary lifted his arm, and pointed to Yukiko.
I was at her house. She let me take a bath and fed me, and I'm really thankful. You should hug her in my name!

[Zander]

Maple let out a "Yay" faintly, and let go of his leg, jumping onto Yukiko's leg and nuzzling it.

[Aquablast]

"So...what is there to do around here, besides getting nuzzled by cats?"

"Hm... I don't know, I usually watch TV. I haven't got out of my apartment until recently." Bullet looked around, and noticed the black cat and white dog standing beside a faraway bush. However, Maple had beaten him to it... Again.

"It was nice meeting you all but I need to take Sunni home now. "

"Oh, okay. See you soon then." Bullet seemed a little bit disappointed that they were leaving this soon, but he could tell that they were tired and hungry. (Per:8)

Bullet turned to Bolly again. "Hey! So why don't we introduce ourselves to the cat and the dog over there?" Bullet asked, while pointing at Gary and Yukiko.

Yukiko smiled at Gary's comment, "I will let that comment slide." She said before Maple hugged her legs. Yukiko patted Maple on the head, "So Maple, what have you been doing today?" She asked.

[Zander]

Maple purred as she was patted on the head. She let go of yukiko's leg and stepped back a little. "Ive been out exploring like usual." Maple said with a little spring in her speech.

[Alex]

Gary stood up from the ground, and saw the perfect opportunity. Without hesitating, he jumped and glomped Maple from behind, wrapping his arms and legs around her.
Hah! How does this feel, huh?

[JOFOXX]

Aiden turned his head towards the music, putting a nice sound into his ears. "Sounds like a piano to me...and something else."

May nodded slowly, a smile crossing her lips. "It's Angel... And it looks like Windchimes is going to have a little fun with him."

Windchimes smiled. Unexpected, but effective. He played a bar of music that seemed to ask:
"Hey, you wanna go? Come on, let's do this!"

Angel's eyes were colsed as his fingers danced across the keyboard. His body moved rhythmically over the piano, his tones mingling with Windchimes'. Angel grinned as the cat's playing became a little more agressive, and his eyes flashed. The husky amped his own playing, flying over the keys and sending solid, harmonious notes through the air. He hadn't had this much fun in years.

Windchimes smirked as Angel played.

"Impressive," his Bass sang, "but can you match this?"

A cascade of notes in a minor key seemed to cry out to the heavens an anguish, reaching out for someone... anyone......

Aiden moved out into the store and to the piano, just standing and watching Angel play. That sounds pretty nice...

Angel grinned mischievously as Windchimes uped the anty again. His fingers were liek blurs over the keys, countering Windchimes' remorseful sounds with a more playful and exciting tune, careful to keep the two sounds playing together. He glanced up Aiden, giving the pup a smile happier than any he had had in years. He winked at Aiden, and turned back to the keys.

May slipped in behind Aiden, standing just behind teh pup as she too watched Angel play.

Angel grinned mischievously as Windchimes uped the anty again. His fingers were liek blurs over the keys, countering Windchimes' remorseful sounds with a more playful and exciting tune, careful to keep the two sounds playing together. He glanced up Aiden, giving the pup a smile happier than any he had had in years. He winked at Aiden, and turned back to the keys.

Aiden watched Angel's fingers move frantically on the Piano's keys, it was almost painful to try and keep up. The sound coming from the piano and Windchimes bass was awesome, to say the least. Wow, Angel is really good at that....

Jake smiled at Bolly, "Yea, me too. I thought I'd be the only one." He looked down at Sunni then back up at Bolly. "Alright, I'll see you all later." He waved with his free hand and started leading Sunni to the other park entrance, he didn't want to get caught up with Maple again. If Sunni really was getting effected by the heat he wanted to get her inside as soon as possible. "So Sunni, where do you live?"

Maple yipped as she was tackled, she couldnt do anything but just lay there, constrained by Gary. She let out a small laugh "you got me!" she somehow let out, being it hard to talk when someone twice your size is suffocating you.

(Im assuming they're heading back in the direction Sunni and Maple came from way back when...)

Sunni semi-nuzzled against Jake as they walked towards the entrance to the park. When the got there, she pointed nearly directly across the street, "There." She was pointing at the fruit store, where a man was standing outside, looking around frantically; Uncle Apple.

(Ever since I came up with him and Sunni, "Uncle Apple" was the only way I could refer to him and it sound normal! =3)

[Neko]

Jake stopped on the sidewalk, looking across the street at the man. "Is that your owner?"

Sunni nodded before nuzzling back into Jake. "He's probably worried about me, I wasn't supposed to leave the front of the store... Aahhh, soft..."

[Neko]

Jake checked both sides of the street, before leading the nuzzling cat across. "Why did you leave then? It's not good to make your owner worry about you."

[DarkHeartsAndSuch]

"It's no big deal, he never gets mad..." Sunni kept nuzzlng Jake as they walked. Meanwhile, Uncle Apple noticed them walking across towards him. He put his hands on his hips and tapped his foot on the ground. He would've ran out to them, but he wouldn't abandon the store for something heading right for him, let alone the fact that it looked like Sunni had found a wolf bodyguard.

Jake escorted Sunni across the street, stopping on the sidewalk when he was near Uncle Apple. he looked down at Sunni who was still nuzzling, feeling himself blush underneath his fur as he looked at Uncle Apple. "Uh, Hello sir..."

Windchimes pouted. No sad music from Angel? Ah well, if you can't beat them, join them, as they say. He switched to full-on Jazz, strumming up a beat on his bass.
"Try this on for size!" his bass seemed to challenge.

Angel's eyes flashed again, and he jumped up the keys suddenly, the piano twinkling into the air. His fingers blurred over the keyboard, pummeling at Windchime's notes, then he slowly dropping back into the cat's rhythm.

May grinned as the music swam through her head, she just hoped this wasn't a one time thing for Angel.

Upstairs, Jacob had moved into his room, now tapping away at his computer's keyboard. He was probably doing some sort of business mumbo jumbo of the internet, but he stopped when the humming of some strange instument reached him. He had barely had time to indentify the sound when another one started, playing along with the first. Jacob's eyes lit up in realization, and he nearly knocked over his desk in his haste to get downstairs.

He skidded to a stop behind Aiden and May, staring at Angel.

Uncle Apple walked over to the wolf and his pet. "Hello there... he said, offering his hand out. "I see Sunni tagged you as her new 'object of affection.'"
Sunni nodded, head still against Jake.

[Neko]

Aiden jumped at the sudden appearance of Jacob, spinning around to see him watching Angel as well. Guess he wants to listen too.

Jake gave the man a firm handshake, smiling nervously. "Yea, I guess she has. Does she, uh...Do this a lot?"

Windchimes grinned, playing another jazz melody, this one seeming to be reminiscent of nights in the bar partaking of loneliness. He noticed the bang of furniture upstairs, then saw Jacob come skidding down the stairs. Warily, he continued playing, but noted that a hasty getaway may be necessary should Jacob, clearly Angel's owner, become hostile.

"Only with the bright things... Like your fur. You should've seen it when she found this one quarter..." Uncle Apple said with a little smile, causing Sunni to glare at him.

Jake chuckled, "Ooooh, that makes sense I suppose....I was wondering why she took a sudden liking to my fur."

"Well, I've got to get back inside," Uncle Apple said, turning and heading in. "You're welcome to come in. And Sunni, I'll talk to you about running off later..." "Yes, dad..." Sunni replied before he ran in.

[Neko]

Jake looked down at Sunni, petting her head. "I guess I'll see you later then?"

"Noo, don't go..." Sunni cried, tightly squeezing the wolf.

Jake smiled and petted Sunni. "Okay, I won't go. But uh, can we go inside and get a drink? I'm really thirsty, and I wouldn't mind some air conditioning."

After waving goodbye to Jake and Sunni, Bullet turned back to Bolly and tugged his hand while pointing at Maple, Gary, and Yukiko. "Hey Bolly! Let's introduce ourselves to the white dog and the black cat over there!"

"Yeah, c'mon, let's go!" Sunni said, instantly happy again. She turned and ran towards the door, still holding onto Jake tight.

Jake laughs at Sunni's eagerness as he follows the cat. I never thought I'd be a cat's object of affection.
