You know, when this arc started I was expecting the pups to unleash Ransom of Red Chief-levels of mayhem on the hapless babysitters. I gotta admit, though, Peanut on the verge of completely losing his sanity over nothing? That's even better.

Still not sure why they haven't just called Fox, the safest, and (what I thought was) the most obvious choice, especially seeing as how he's the one that called them in to begin with.

I'm not going to pretend I know much about how police shifts work, but it seems to me that Fox mostly works a day shift. King and Bailey went out for the evening, and it's clearly getting pretty late as they're on their way back. Fox should be home by now, at the very least.

When they left, they were tagging along with him and Bill on their way in, that's why he wasn't available to watch the pups himself.
