Be careful Peanut. Aren't dogs allergic to grapes?

The last panel is my favorite Peanut / Grape interaction.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.
Re: 2017/04/05 - Taste The Rainbow
Is that...popcorn on a hot dog?
Oddly enough, my first thought is not a question of how that would taste, but rather how would you keep the popcorn on the hot dog without it spilling everywhere? Would ketchup or mustard be used to make it stick? That would certainly answer the question of taste with a definitive "nasty," though that's probably not an issue for Bailey.

Nice try, Peanut.
Seeing mouths covered
with various things;
a staple for tonight
for Grapes and Kings.
Bailey’s got an onion dog,
King’s dreading her breathing.
Peanut is a panic hog
But Grape’s not one for squirming.
Two on their own
Two in a clan.
For once in Housepets!
Are things going to plan?

An onion dog, alright, that makes much more sense than what I was thinking. Though I'd say it still looks kind of ambiguous.Welsh Halfwit wrote:Bailey’s got an onion dog,

That hotdog actually looks pretty good. I bet Peanut has licked worse things in his life so it's no big deal

Either way, the way King's looking at it makes me think he's not looking forward to breathing it second hand, so to speak.leinglo wrote:I know right?RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:I thought it looked like popcornleinglo wrote: An onion dog, alright, that makes much more sense than what I was thinking. What's a hot dog without mustard, onions, and sauerkraut? Well, not a hot dog, obviously.
...popcorn? ...really?

Oh come on people. She asked for *everything*. Popcorn is part of *everything*. Also Goobers and Raisinettes. And Skittles. And soda syrup.

... She really shouldn't be eating onion since she's a dog.
I love the alt text today though. I think it's as funny as the strip itself!

What? That's what it looks like.Dissension wrote:...popcorn? ...really?
...Kinda...
...Sorta...

Re: 2017/04/05 - Taste The Rainbow
I love how the the conversation is almost entirely devoted to what sort of 'condiments' are on baileys hot-dog... How I love you, random internet!
Re: 2017/04/05 - Taste The Rainbow
Oh, another calling. Bailey is doing the part of King now, worrying for the pups, just a little. But well, the question is legit. The pups haven't eat yet, but what happened to them, then? What have you done, Peanut? Eheh, yeah, the pups drooled Grape entirely, so far.

Fun fact: Grape doesn't tastes like grape

I'm not overly fond of onions and sauerkraut has too strong a scent. I usually just put ketchup and mustard (and occasionally relish) on mine, though I sometimes add lettuce and pickles, albeit rarely.Dissension wrote:What's a hot dog without mustard, onions, and sauerkraut? Ketchup is an abomination and should be banned.
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Ever since I discovered it, I've always had hot dogs with chili and cheese. Never had it with relish or onions.

it's not a hot dog related thing, ketchup is just disgusting in general.Argent wrote:Buster wrote:Ketchup is an abomination and should be banned.Argent wrote:You're from Chicago? All I know is that I got The Ketchup Lecture on the subject of Chicago Style Dogs and about all I retained is that ketchup on hot dogs is VERBOTEN in Chicago.Buster wrote:wrong country, go further north.
