what's the option for "Dream about cats, and meet one of the other cast early in a roundabouts way"?

The three fall into a deep sleep and wake to find a century has passed and their parents are nowhere to be found.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Sorry for the long break, got caught up on a bunch of stuff. Every possible route has been planned out, and we're ready to go! Unless of course you somehow do some crazy far out ending to this chapter, of course.

You awaken from a frightening dream. A loud sound caused you to jump up from your slumber. You aren't really sure what it was, or if it was real. You think it was probably just thunder.

It doesn't feel like you slept for long, you don't feel well rested at all. Now that you think about it, you don't really feel like you...

What should you do?
1) Check the mirror.
2) Check the window.
3) Put on your collar.
4) Check on Bravo and Echo.
5) Check your desk.
6) Listen.

Either 4 or 6.
Play The Hayseed Knight. This isn’t self promotion, I just really like the game.

So Charlie has some emotional memories hidden. Didn't expect this development. Reason I'm saying this is because it doesn't feel connected to what just happened. It could easily be just me, though.

Let's see, I would go with six, but the thunder might make it hard to make anything out. "You don't feel like you." Not a good sign, something could be filling him with more doubt than before. Maybe something as simple as simply verifying yourself could help, so I choose 2.

I say Op #1. Gotta go through the bases. :P
Also, I have a feeling that the entire prologue was just a dream that was merely a memory.

You focus on listening to the sounds around you. The sound of rain is harsh on your ears, It's still coming down pretty hard, maybe even more than before.

Through the rain, you can still hear Mom and Dad. You're not sure what they're talking about, or if they're even arguing, but you can occasionally make out you and Bravo's name. Your mood sinks again, remembering the events of today. At the very least, you know you must not have slept long.

You still feel uneasy, just for more reasons than before. But was that the sound? Was that where it came from? Was it even real? Does it even matter?
1) Check the mirror.
2) Check the window.
3) Put on your collar.
4) Check on Bravo and Echo.
5) Check your desk.
6) Go to the hallway.
7) Try to go back to sleep.

I still want to check the mirror, but Charlie's mental state is critical. Let's put on our collar. Maybe the familiar feeling will provide some comfort.

Ah scrap, that's not good. I can't think of anything that doesn't have the chance to lower his mental state, so let's just try to be a good brother and make sure our siblings are okay. 4.

"The air is kinda thin, or is it too heavy"

Hidden text under his mental status, and it worries me, but I don't know what to make of it. Just what is with the dripping spot? Dream sequence?

You look to your left to check on Echo and Bravo. They're fast asleep--er, well, Bravo certainly is at least. Echo's just regular sleeping. For all that's happened, they seem rather relaxed. They did seem rather confident before you went to bed. It's good to know someone's can relax...

A flash of lightning fills the room.

You doubt they made the noise. Bravo's snoring isn't THAT loud, nor is his usual thrashing about.
