I have a feeling Duke will not make it off the island...Preferably going out Like Dieter from the JP: Lost world movie and The original Hammond from the novel...

Re: Phanerozoic Park OOC
our host does realize that an NDA signed by a pet probably wouldn't hold up in court any better than one signed by a minor would (IE: not at all), right?
Or any other legal agreement for that matter.
One can't sign away rights one does not have to start with.
Just like one would have to go through a child's legal guardian, one would probably have to go through a pet's owner, due to the limited rights of the individual in question.

No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Re: Phanerozoic Park OOC
Also busyer you had the anchiornis character right? Wanting to intro it soon
Re: Phanerozoic Park OOC
Well, since it's soverin soil technically they have the same rights as a human on the island, tough their citizenship (if it realy counts) might negate that. Still, he mostly just trusts animals to be loyal to their word, he is a crazy dog with issues with humans.
Seriously though, they are currently inside one of the best appointed resorts in the world, with a free pass to-do all the things ritch people would do without having to pay for anything. I'm sure the humans are taking advantage of that.

Well, it depends on who she sneaks out to find. If your okay with her already knowing Grant, I can have her show up now, otherwise i'm waiting for us to encounter an NPC she can be in proximity of.Hotep the psychic wrote:Also busyer you had the anchiornis character right? Wanting to intro it soon

Well, it depends on whether the island is a country. If it is so, then Duke can choose the jurisdiction of his own island, where he could, theoretically, do whatever he wants.22xander & Buster wrote:Issues with NDA
And even if not, the owners would probably sign the NDA themselves, restricting both themselves and their pets from announcing everything to the public.(Or risk getting sued.)

hackle bird watches in ohio, hackle also reads about birds extinct included, you go deep into birds if bird watching is nearly your prmary scource of entertainment
Social media, is just as much of a curse, as it is a blessing, & our government doesn't like being filmed so keep filming

Anchiornis technically aren't birds though. They're a smaller type of Raptor (which I'm assuming would eat insects given it's size and head proportions), albeit one with a full wing of feathers on all five limbs.

...So, I only put in her bio that Dee tends to sneak out, I never actually figured out how, cause I had assumed I would know more about how the animal pens are set up before this question came up...

I'm gonna attempt to get a post up tomorrow and I'll try to be more active in the RP.
And I think we had 7 people at the start.

Re: Phanerozoic Park OOC
It's been nearly four months since anyone posted in this RP. Is anyone still interested in it? If there's no activity within a week or two then I'll move it to the inactive forum. Cheers, all.

i joined this one because i wanted to play with hackle, but hack vanished, the GM stopped posting and the thread ground to a halt since nothing was happening and nobody knew what to do next.

Re: Phanerozoic Park OOC
All right. Since two players including the GM are no longer active on the forums and since Buster doesn't want to keep playing here I think I can safely close this.
If anyone wants to try reviving it or creating another Jurassic Park RP then feel free. ^^
