First. This is the reason that I started getting serious about drawing. You know that flash animation called There She Is?
I'm subjecting myself to unbelievable amounts of bittersweet emotion just writing this. If I even start humming the tunes to any of the extremely good songs that score it I will start to cry. I actually prevent myself from watching it anymore, because every time I do I become an emotional wreck for the rest of the day. Infact, I've gone at least six months since I've seen it last. But really the entire thing is just... just... (I promised myself I wouldn't say it) completely *&*^&*%^ adorable!

Tarabithia.
Bridge to Tarabithia, rather.
I cried in during the movie, all three times I saw it.
I didn't cry in the book, but only because I was in school when I read it.
And, ya' know.

Re: Has a Movie ever made you cry?
i thought the movie was horrible. it's a bit anticlimactic, i mean: oh look life is going well - oh look the tension is building - oh look she's dead now
story over
go back to real life now
i never read the book but i heard it's basically the same

But every single time a character you know dies and another one becomes sad about it, I always get sad. So Bridge to Tarabitria got me there.

The Green Mile, I cried when the officers execute an innocent man with god's gift under the man's request.
Cinema Paradiso, the ending where he watches all the cutscenes his best friend left him after his death. That was very touching.

Dear Heaven, Cinema Paradiso. That movie was so good and so odd at the same time.Agent Sandwich wrote:The Green Mile, I cried when the officers execute an innocent man with god's gift under the man's request.

Do ads count? The Thai Life Insurance ads made me cry in 1 minute or less! Especially the mother who did a C-section 1 week early, a father's promise to her daughter, grandfather's Chinese violin and the one where a man proposes to his girlfriend with cancer. Just look up Touching Thai Life Insurance Ads on Youtube.

I would say yes.Ebly wrote:I have never cried when watching a movie. I've come close sometimes, with eyes watering. Of course to be fair I can't tell whether that's an emotional connection or because I've been staring at a screen for more than an hour. Either way, I've never actually cried from a movie.
On the other hand, Thai life insurance ads never fail.

Bolt made me watery eyed. I want a dog like that :'(
Re: Has a Movie ever made you cry?
No movie has made me cry, but some movies have made my chest tighten. Like "The Perfect Storm."
But a lot of movies that have really sad parts, make me laugh uncontrollably like a insane madman.
Like when Simba's father dies.
I know, I'm horrible.

I remembered 2 more!
1. 'The boy in the striped pyjamas' where they both enter the gas chambers when the parents are searching.
2. 'Never ending story' where the horse dies.
They always got me tearful.

TOY STORY 3! Like about 5 different times! muffins and cookies, that was an awesome movie!
Few movies actually make me cry, usually I just get 'choked up', like at the start of Up. Also, on the note of;

Re: Has a Movie ever made you cry?
Let's see.. When I was younger, the first Homeward Bound movie.. Bambi, Fox and the Hound, V for Vendetta, 300 (believe it or not lol), Lion King, Bolt, Titanic (when younger), All dogs go to heaven, Saving Private Ryan, Gone with the wind, Casablanca, Marley and Me, Dumbo, Philadelphia, The Furturama episode with Fry's nephew, named after him to carry on his spirit, the episode with his dead dog, and also the newer episode with the time traveling, near the end when Leela "wrote" him that message I got kinda choked up. Also Schindler's List, One flew over the cuckoo's nest, and perhaps to me the all time saddest and best movie, Cool Hand Luke.

A double post isn't necessarily two posts with the same content. Double posting just means you posted two times in a row.Harby wrote:But then he wouldnt need to apoligize if he edited one... because their wouldnt be double posts, im really confused.Zander wrote:he edited the duplicate post to say he double posted.Harby wrote:Wheres the double post? To keep from going off topic, I cried hard in "Two Brothers". I hated that movie.
