Title Text: Well you have to admit... ball
Well, it's six hours late so I figured I might as well start it.
Some say Humans are just like their pet;
aloof, loyal, crazy and wildly wondering.
Catching and coveting for all they can get
without all the accidents and blundering.
Sports matching their simple desires
Do pets get allowed in the games centre
or are they left in the field as nature conspires
for ways to prevent them to enter?
Lauren shows her wiles and skill
and features a canine we've not met yet.
It looks like Daisy and catches through her will.
Are we to see her again? Perhaps, you bet.

Hi everyone, I'm the maker of the comic. If anyone was curious, the game the humans are playing is racquetball, and the dog in the comic is based off of my family's Newfoundland dog that I grew up with, Punk. I've actually had this idea for a long time, but this was the first time I got up the guts to actually draw and post it. I hope you all liked it.

You did a great job, kudos to you And your dog reminds me of Daisy and her one track mind. "Hi I'm- ball!"

Thank you so much! And, yeah, Punk is like that. He's a big friendly boy, but if you start petting him he gets so into it he stops wagging his tail. He literally cannot be pet and wag at the same time.Sansash wrote:You did a great job, kudos to you And your dog reminds me of Daisy and her one track mind. "Hi I'm- ball!"

Hehehe I only noticed after I'd finished it how much it looked like Daisy. I guess I'll just have to plan to do another strip the next time there's a guest week to further explore and differentiate this shaggy black dog. My headcannon is that the woman in yellow is in a reverse Joel situation with her memories wiped. *adjusts glasses*
Re: 2016/03/28 -The Obsession
Nice one. Yeah, in many sports humans already fetch or make bounce a ball too, so, it's better find another valid reason to think to be a dog. Look for cats ability with yarn balls, and not only, anyway.

Thank you very much! I've been working with digital art a long time, but I very recently got photoshop and I'm still getting used to it. XD If I hadn't been so worried about missing guest week, I would have added some shading to it, but I'm happy with the results all the same.dryideabat wrote:I like the style and feel of this comic.
