Another bit of fanart

Okay, here I go.

Made this quite a long while ago when Chaoko let me take a good look at the sprites for Thread Bound. Later on, I realized that Peanut shouldn't have paw pads on his hands and informed Chaoko of this. In the end, though, this will remain only as a fan-made deal, as Thread Bound has gone through a complete retooling that changed the playable cast to original characters instead of web comic characters.

Another one using a sprite made by Chaoko. It was cute and I felt like making this.

And finished this one just today! I simplified the palette A LOT, as I didn't have all of the necessary colors. Sadly, I didn't really do Buster's work justice here, but I really wanted to finish this and not let it sit there unfinished. Also didn't melt very well, unfortunately.

By the way, anyone know what happened to the fanart with Peanut eating a PB&J sandwich
and Grape drinking tea beside him? I saw it a little while ago and now I can't find it.

It actually went to three boards, a little over a foot tall. The latter two used a single giant peg board.

Anyhow, managed to do this.

Okay, THIS was interesting! Something I've been wanting to do for a very long time. Unlike my drawings of Amaranth, I went into this with little reference. Finally decided to go about the "wireframe" method. You know, basically a posed stickman. Added more over time in different color pencils in the original sketch. The face was also interesting to do, finally did that method of making perspective lines.

As I've noted before, I'm not the greatest artist by a long shot.

Anyway, eventually got it close enough. Even after scanning it, had to make a few changes, such as shortening the legs and realigning the head. The hands were me doing such a cheater method. I copied the arm, put it in new layer, and erased lines to give the impression of being behind the front one. Reason is, couldn't get the hand to look ideal, and didn't even bother to attempt that with the second one.

Proportions are obviously off, but style-emulating is impossible for me, and not only that, do I really want to do that? I'm outright proud that I was able to do this!

Why is Peanut sad? Well, there's a simple explanation for that.

Unless the artist got posessed by one of his alter egos for some period of time, who appear to not only share similar drawing skills, but also be a fan of the artist's work.

There actually is a gallery for Rick's other drawings here. It's just never been used, from what I've seen. Also a fan art gallery, but that hasn't updated in a long while. Why would anyone post there anymore, when you have dedicated threads like this one?

We had fan art threads before the gallery; the hope was that everyone would migrate, but it didn't take off as well as I'd hoped.

I don't know why, but I really like this concept, so I'm gonna roll with it for awhile.
Somehow I don't think that Bino will be as content with the roll of Frisk as he first thought...
