Let's hope Miles will wake him up :)

Okay Lucetria seems to be the only sane woman here and Rodney is as friendly as ever. It's really cute and funny how they surround Bailey.

...is he not supposed to sleep for the entire gestation period?

Anyways, I imagine the conversation:

"Weren't you supposed to tell King?"
"No, I thought you were going to get King!"
"Guys, wasn't Daryl gonna grab King?"
"But I thought the other Daryl was waking up King..."

His snoring is probably drowning it out. :P
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

At least one's chewing a pillow,
the better to get through the night.
Whichever wolf is sent to wake him
is surely in for quite a sight.
As the Wolves cram in around her,
Bailey finds she needs her heart;
little knowing that the veil of sleep
is what's keeping them apart.
He's not woken, despite the noise
going on everywhere under him.
It's not surprising, I suppose -
living here he must be used to the din.

Face-first, drooling on the pillow.

People, there is little hope of waking him up once he reaches that stage of sleep.

It's good to see that Elaine has her priorities straight.
King should just wake up the next morning with puppies crawling all over him. The look on his face would be priceless.

By now I would think he has lived at the wolf house long enough to wear earplugs when he sleeps. The wolves probably never thought to go get him.

Well he slept through that time the police were called 'cos there was this awesome full moon so the wolves were having a howl.

It's my headcanon you leave it alone.

Also: Doggy drool all over the pillow. That's why you don't let dogs on the bed. Well one of the reasons.

For the love of dog! Really wolves? You do all this preparation and forgot King?

I'd actually find it funny to see King act surprisingly calm and prepared, like this moment was what all his previous anxieties were waiting for.

Really, that comes out illegibly small? It's about half the height of running text on my screen.

TBH I was kind of hoping Rick wouldn't bring King in just yet.
But the timing and funnies here is perfect.

Aaaaaand then we find out next strip that this was all just in King's mind, that she's not giving birth to them just yet~

Nope. That happens after the strip in which they turn out to be a gryphon and a dragon and a fox.

[fox cub (kitsune) winks]

Kitsune: Just thought I'd tag along.
King: NOOOOOOOOOO! WAKE UP!

[King wakes up]
