Well, it's been over two months since I posted anything new here, so I thought I would share something I like to call 'Adventure Fursuiting':
Take a fursuit, hop on a jet aircraft, land somewhere in a country where nobody speaks your language, put on your fursuit and see what happens.
So, I am traveling through states of the former Soviet union, about 200 miles from the border of China and Afghanistan. I've been here three weeks now.
During that time, I've fursuited five times, with two of them on the street. Once in Baku, Azerbaijan, and once in the streets of Bishkek, looking for photo ops.
...boy did we find them. The reactions range from astonishment to delighted astonishment - and everyone wants to get some of the fun with selfies. In one place, I was taking photos of some street art, and the traffic started packing up until horns were honking and tooting, because drivers and passengers were rolling down their windows and sticking their cellphones out the window to snap pictures. I keep my passport and some money handy, "just in case" but nothing bad has happened!
People are people, wherever you go, it seems.
Anyway, Here's a photo from the Kyrgyzstan walkabout:
