I'm trying to imagine Rig with a cat...
Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
What powers would Socks have if he was magical like the others?
My characters!
I got too many colors to remember. I'll put them here to see. Aren't they nice? Yep! Absolutely!
(There's actually 6 eggs, but I ran out of links)

Warlock.
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

He has no magic. Instead he's unnaturally good at doing the laundry.
Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
I was thinking poison magic like Green Knight from Castle Crashers.

I know, she noticed, I'm trying to keep up.
Does Amanda's house have room for a sarcastic cat from the pound?

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
Yensid and Retlaw live alone, so they could take in Socks no problem. The room has three four rooms anyway.

Amanda's house is sizable enough. I'd also imagine her father would find it interesting to have a cat from beyond the family around.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
Rig'd open up his house again. He lives alone, he's got space and he could probably handle a cat.
Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
If you couldn't tell, I really want Socks. I just do. I don't know why.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
Exactly my thought. That's some weird law bending you'll have to do in order to adopt someone without a human to sign for it.
Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
Keene did it.

More like Keene's estate managed by their lawyer guy. Still need a human hand in there somewhere to manage stuff.

Keene's a billionaire and he has Mr London signing the forms. Even though his lawyer's a bit... dim.Mickey wrote:Keene did it.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
Andrew lives in a two up/two down. He's just about have space for a cat, a dog and a spectral Rat. Socks might be too much. And can I point out he's have to take Yensid and Retlaw TOO???

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
He wouldn't have to take them in, he could just adopt Socks and stick him in Retlaw and Yensids house.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
That's be fine bar two points.
Andrew would be the legal owner and, as I recall, animal control may make several checks on rehomed animals.
They don't know about Socks yet(!)
Oh, and what if they ask after Retlaw and Yensid's papers?
We'll sort it out...

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
Rig would take work to adopt since legally he'd be considered an "exotic pet." He also hasn't ever tried to be adopted so he's ownerless.
Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
Ret and Yen lost their owner.

Does a fake owner count? Hehe... Guess that means mine are owner-less too, but by choice at least, they got their fake owner... So 50/50...
Currently traveling across the United States. Still up for any conversations though.

I was wholly unaware of that proximity...
Wait a minute... Is magic outlawed or shunned in this town? Why would anyone who doesn't know Rig care where he went?

because nobody actually knows about magic.
This place is just a place where pets with magic "just so happen" to all be in the same town.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
reading through it's archived predecessor i always got the feeling the town had something to it that draws the magical and supernatural in, and the masquerade of normality being all the more important for it.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
Jeez, If I had realized how down low it was supposed to be I probably would have designed Rig differently. But nobody, none of the NPCs at least, seem to notice anything odd about him, perceptions of 1 I guess
