That looks very nice! I like what you did with the two different colored eyes!

Dang, awesome job D-Rock... That is just awesome! Loving the ferrets, and the switched colors! And yeah, not many of the ferrets got much time given to them, Keene is the center of it all...
And that dragon switch, hehe, not even the same comic but that is still awesome, you're great at this, keep it up!

Thanks, and one more set for now.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
actually, you didn't need to make dragon's eyes blank.
if you look at the strip closely, ness actually does have pupils and a defined edge to her irises, they're just a darker shade of green than her iris and sclera, so they blend in some times.
see?

Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Dang it. I'll get to fixing that eventually. I seriously never noticed. Thanks!
EDIT: Well, didn't work as I would have liked. At least fixed up Pete-Harvey.

A Green Tarot is still a cool Tarot, hehe, great job D-Rock... And sheesh Buster if that is what you can do with a mouse and say you hate working with it... Wow... That's a fantastic job.

i hate working with it because what should take ten minutes, takes two hours.
also, those are recolors of lines D-rock already redrew for his own edits.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Great job, Buster.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Really nice job on GL Tarot, especially neat touch with the phone!
Fox also looks surprisingly good in Sonic's colors (nice use of the Sonic Boom design, too. I should check out the cartoon, the games have gotten really bad reviews). guessing lack of feet was to avoid having to draw the shoes?
I kind of guessed that you use a tablet, Buster, and from what I can tell, a lot more freedom than a mouse. Everything I make is with the mouse, as it's all I have, but any tool takes time to get right. I'm sure if I somehow got a tablet, first attempts would be long and tedious.
Two more. Max used Twisted Limits!

- Neat, really. Should have fixed the tail when I had the chance. Also, didn't Peanut and Grape have a child that looked like this in Housepets: The Series?

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
So, I'm pretty sure I've told this story sometime before, but looking at this thread, I think it deserves to be told again.
On another forum called "Bumbleking Comics" I've had an avatar of Sasha for ABOUT 4 or so years now, pictured here:
A while back, a big meme spawned in our forum where everyone would change their icons to a specific drawing that a member of the forum named Dub had made, pictured here:
(image is a bit bigger here, but blah~)
Anyway, to the point. Everyone was changing their icons to this picture, and I WANTED to join into the fun, but didn't want to abandon my wonderful Sasha icon. So what happened? Well... I got an Idea.... I got an awful idea..... I got a wonderful, awful idea...
I'm sorry

Took me about two years to get the hang of. Wasn't used to drawing on one surface while looking somewhere else. it's as easy and as quick as a pencil now though. the only thing is still use mouse for is sprites, and that's mainly due to size.D-Rock wrote:I'm sure if I somehow got a tablet, first attempts would be long and tedious.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Not looking where you're drawing? Yeah, that sounds all sorts of awkward to begin with. Learned of a tablet that displayed the image on the screen, looked into that. Price elicited one big "NOPE."
I've learned the benefits of pixel-by-pixel work. Incredibly tedious, but often well worth it.

So instead of relaxing with some DB Xenoverse, Animal Crossing, or working on ToB designs, I do edits.
