Earlier today the FurAffinity forums descended into anarchy. Why's that?

Because all the mods are gone. And why's that?

Because they had to sign non-disclosure agreements and provide photographic ID, such as driver's licenses. As unpaid volunteers. On a furry site. Naturally they resigned if they hadn't been already banned for their refusal.

And that's how you don't manage a community.

It's unraveling for a long time before any of this happened.

Because it's how we're making the cake. We're just going to dump a whole lot of uncooked cake batter out of the plane until we see it start to cook from the heat. Then we'll know where it is AND have a cake.

The cake mix is there to provide a cushion. And if there's anything I've learned from the movies and video games, it's that being near lava is totally safe, as long as you don't physically touch it.
