So I think I might be going insane. Last night I had a dream about Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, the minions from Despicable Me and the Lion King.

That could mean you have an active imagination . As I don't think there have been any dream studies tied to them indicating any sign of proof that of insanity.
I think you should be okay basically. Though that dream. Does sound crazy.

At least you've never dreamed that you were going to feed the local, endangered squirrel species that lives around your house by feeding them leftover pumpkins from Halloween with the neighbor girl that lives across the street, only for the girl to kiss you and run off into the woods, leaving you with mixed and confused emotions.

Got new headphones today and I'm already loving them.
See them here.
They're supposed to super solid and well built to survive anything you can throw at them, and let me tell you that they ARE. Unlike most headphones, all of the parts that actually get stressed with normal use are metal, not plastic, so they aren't going to break from normal use like my LAST pair of headphones. *Glares at the broken headphones sitting on the dresser across my room*
They also have changeable plates that are purely aesthetic but totally AWESOME. You can even get custom plates from the manufacturer that range from "affordable" with $25 for laser engraved aluminum ones to "who has that kind of money" for $9,000 for 14K Gold ones. They even have plain 3D printed Platinum ones for $27,000, and they can go to as much as $40,000 if you want to get fancy with the 3D printing.
For $25, I may get custom laser engraved aluminum ones at some point.

Platinum is less than twice the price of gold and 3D printing is one of the cheaper ways to manufacture things with high-cost materials. What gives? D:

Obviously they want more money for things that sound much more awesome than boring old good. Everyone has done the good thing. That is so 2000. But 3D printed platinum? Like, who's done that before? No one. So buy now for the low, low price of 27 grand.
That's funny. Haven't had that happen to me for some time.Amazee Dayzee wrote:It's 3:18 AM at night and there is a moth flying around my room and smacking into the lit-up computer screen.

Re: Chat Thread 42: The Answer To Life, The Universe and Eve
First, it may be the fact that the gold is only 14K that brings its price down some. I don't know if you're taking that into account because I'm too lazy to look up the prices myself right now.Sleet wrote:Platinum is less than twice the price of gold and 3D printing is one of the cheaper ways to manufacture things with high-cost materials. Second, it could just be that more people actually bought the gold ones at first because, you know, GOLD. Since there was a higher demand, they were able to produce them in larger batches, reducing waste and making more in less time. Less overhead means lower prices, and as prices lower, more people buy, and the trend continues. (To a point anyway)
They could just get so few orders for platinum plates that they HAVE to charge that for it to be worth their time.

Travel by air is statistically the safest way to travel. Yes, there was that recent incident, and it's unfortunate, but airlines took immediate steps to prevent such a thing happening again.
However, this forum is not the place to discuss that. You'll be fine Dayzee. Hundreds of millions of people fly and they all come out of it fine.

I'm kind of jealous you get to fly... I've moved across the United States eight times, ending up at three ends of this place... Be happy that you're dealing with a few hour flight compared to a few day trip, heh...
Currently traveling across the United States. Still up for any conversations though.

Re: Chat Thread 42: The Answer To Life, The Universe and Eve
So here's something I found that's interesting. For those who don't know, Shrek was originally going to be voice by Chris Farley, and Farley actually recorded half of his lines before his death. Apparently, someone discovered an early animation reel with Farley voicing Shrek.

Re: Chat Thread 42: The Answer To Life, The Universe and Eve
that's... actually surprisingly good. Not that I thought Chris Farley would be bad, just that usually it feels weird and wrong when you hear someone else voicing a character you've gotten used to, and you always think "no, I'm glad it was [insert final actor here] cause this is all wrong". but this just seems right. Too bad he couldn't finish it.

Re: Chat Thread 42: The Answer To Life, The Universe and Eve
You're right Brent. It was... different, but not bad or wrong sounding.
If that WAS Shreck's final voice though, I feel the future movies probably would have gone in a different direction. He seemed very different here than I would picture him otherwise. That would be pretty interesting to see if there was actually a way to do it.

I just heard about it, not seen much videos. Right now in my own home state with are dealing with a 200,000 acre fire ourselves, while its not as bad as that explosion it is getting worse. The smoke can bee seen from the capital of Boise (which since its near the Oregon border means the smoke cloud is visible from almost 60+ miles) http://www.kboi2.com/news/local/Soda-Fi ... 13761.html That's an article of it if anyone wants to read it.
