Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
Okay, ladies, Please calm down.
No need for fisticuffs over this.
As far as I'm aware, Hotep hasn't set clear guidelines relating to this particular form of magic. With that in mind, Mickey's post appears to fall within the realm of possibility given my understanding of the nature of Radiant Gardens Vineyards. You're welcome to continue this discussion if you wish without engaging in personal attacks or argumentation and hopefully everyone will reach a resolution we can agree on. Hotep, you're also welcome to provide a ruling here as this is your RP.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
I actually got the phrase, "Oh boy lemme tell ya!", off Tumblr. It seemed appropriate at the time. Also, fisticuffs?
My characters!
I got too many colors to remember. I'll put them here to see. Aren't they nice? Yep! Absolutely!

Who actually uses the word "fisticuffs"?

Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

I liked the part where Rig appeared as agent Smith from the Matrix. I'm trying to imagine a big ol' Nordic wolf just appearing on a mountain completely unaffected by the surrounding area and just telling him he needs more control.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
*drops stack of papers on your desk* This is literally a list of what they can do.
Yensid Strengths:
●Create lightning from his paws
●Fly using his ears
●Stretch his limbs to a specific length
●Remove his limbs
Yensid Weaknesses:
●Water can cancel out his lighting abilities
●If his detached limbs are too far away, he loses control of them and they just kinda sit there until he can get close enough to them again. This goes for his ears as well since they are detachable too
●His limbs can only go so far until it starts getting painful
●Doesn't always think things through
●Can easily be beaten with a boot to the head (joking)
Retlaw Strengths:
●Can use his paint brush to fight
●His control over his powers is great enough for him to conjure paint out of thin air
●Is quick on his feet
●Can create plans in the middle of a heated battle
Retlaw Weaknesses:
●Thinner or other things that remove paint easy can cancel his powers
●Though he had great control, it almost never works well when he attempts to conjure paint out of nowhere. It gives him a headache
●Is easily distracted
●Isn't as sturdy as Yensid and can be beaten easily
Both Strengths:
●Can use sketchbooks to create living drawings
●Can fix things using Complete Paintings
●Combine powers to either fight or just be showoffs
Both Weaknesses:
●Are extremely unlucky and that sometimes affects them in battle and/or life
●The living drawings can only be created using their sketchbooks. Any other attempt on any other paper will just end up with a flaming piece of paper in the trash
●Aren't as strong as they try to seem
●Literally can not fight or focus if they're not in each others line of sight
●The world can sometimes become a cartoon in their eyes and it messes with their head until they blink a whole bunch to make the world real again

Okay, so weird thing happened while I was making my Radiant Vineyard post. What happened when I tried to preview my post was this:
[color=#80BFFF their going over they're]Insert character speech here.[/color their going over they're]
No idea what happened, but when I clicked preview again, it was gone... Just figured I'd share this strange episode in technology deciding to be possessed for you all.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
in case anyone's wondering what sandy's plotting, Picture what it would look like if this:
Was a cut-away view of the inside of this:
scaled to a Housepets! dog.
I found those designs on a site that says they can be done for under $100, and there's a good 90% overlap between the two, so merging both wont increase that that much.
While her dad won't just give her all of it like she thinks, (she's going to have to ask the others for help with the last $30 worth of materials, cause he thinks the porch is overkill) getting everything shouldn't be hard.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
That is really bizarre, Mickey. I can guarantee it wasn't one of us mods that did it since I trust all of us and there's nothing in the mod logs, and I can see that it wasn't you either because when I hit "edit" that stuff isn't in the original post. So it's either PHPBB or our censor stuffing up. Normally "the war of 1812" appears when someone writes a particular bad word but obviously you've not done that...Mickey wrote:Oh, it's there alright! I need a mod or something.
I'll have Diss check out the censor and I'll get back to you. In the meantime, if you want you can try reposting that and I can delete the original if you like. Or we can just leave it as is. You can also try editing your post and redoing the BB code and make sure that the box saying "disable BB code" isn't ticked. It's up to you so please let me know what you decide.
I don't really know why that's happening though. Sorry about that!
By the way, that last line from Retlaw is totally taken from "The Lion King", isn't it?
Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
Yeah, it is. Man, you know your Disney.
Anyway, it would be if someone deleted it.

If you haven't already noticed, Rig isn't really the kind of wolf that cares all too much about these disagreements. He cares for his new friends, but getting in the midst of an argument removes him from being an effective neutral party, so he just let's them play out.

Shame there's no pool, Sandy Chinchilla. We could have got Amanda to freeze it and you could have ice skated!
Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
You could create a pool with our magic!
No you can't. And even if you could, which you can't, the pool would only disappear after a while and, the most important question, where you even put it?
Jeez, you got call me out like that? They don't need to know our powers are limited to! I mean, the humans do, but not our friends!
