Their pups might be born with three heads. Where would they get a job when they grow up!?
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Back we go to the scared new Dad;
watching his lady revel in the Corn Dog fad;
showing the difference between the races -
Everything Bailey eats she knows is aces!
Fireworks flash inside his brain
as fear derails his mental train.
Nothing, for him, will ever be the same;
he'll care for them – again and again.
A stressed out life over a carni dinner
tells that, as a dad he'll be a winner;
putting his family first, in all his fears
shows the need evident between those ears.

She needs to remember she didn't marry a dog. She married a human who just happened to be a dog at the time, and is now a full time dog. The fruits and veggies are totally coming guys!

Wow, I wish I could panic so hard that my eyes change color for a bit!
But then I'd probably end up panicking myself way too much...
Well King, I think you'll become a great dad, and you've already got plenty of practice from the wolf cubs! (Just don't let Lucretia throw the baby shower!)

It looks like King took the announcement of being a Dad pretty well. He looks adorable when he panics!

I do absolutely love how casual Bailey is in the last panel with King in the corner ready to throw a fit.

Looks kinda adorable ^^ I almost feel him biting his paws a bit after the last image xD
Btw: Did Rick forget to color Kings left (from our view right) eye in the second Panel?

Love how she's treating the pregnancy so casual. Pets don't usually fuss about what they eat, as she says. Of course, King as you would expect, thinking the norm here, will have a heart attach at this rate. Makes me wonder how much fun Rick is having with King. :3
While this is going on, I can't help but think how real male pets treat this stage in their lives. Like stuff their mate with loads of food, regardless of what it is. oodles of oodles of meat @_@

Gotta say im happy for them, and im sure King will recover and reveal how happy he really is. Its normal for him to be this way despite being a dog and this shows he really cares for Bailey and his soon to be born pups.

Hukley's gonna be so sad that he missed so much awesome this coming four weeks.
Re: 2015/06/15 - Panicnic
hopefully he gets someway to at least update himself to see the comic =(Kitch wrote:Hukley's gonna be so sad that he missed so much awesome this coming four weeks.
King isn't wrong either, though. Bailey is just going what's natural. sure, I sense she'll ignore the advice at first, but then take it afterwards. King is just not gonna have fun this arc now X3

Well, she should remember that humans tend to take this kind of thing very seriously at first. Sometimes I wonder if I would react the same way.

I live how much King is worried about the pups already. He will make a great dad! His face in the last panel is priceless!

Re: 2015/06/15 - Panicnic
I think he'll have to worry more about how much energy they will have. If they are especially going to be huskies :3
Another thing i can't wait to see not only the aftermath, but who King will relate fatherhood with. Miles is the onliy candidate right now. Mwahaha.

King is still in "Joel Robinson human" mode. King doesn't need to worry. As long as Bailey doesn't eat toxic waste, his triplets will be fine.

Miles treats him like one of the pups at times though. what if this makes him go all 'grandpa mode'?
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

King is so adorable when he panics.
Re: 2015/06/15 - Panicnic
That's so cute of you, King, you're already showing to be a considerate and responsible father of your pups. That's not instinct, it's only panic, better if you calm down. However, looks like you get panic and fear for eating junk food, in general. Bailey has her special fine tastes, remember? Maybe it's like you say, Bailey, but remember King's origins... The last panel is great.
But, why are you sitting and eating in a so isolated place? There's nobody else around.

It's nice you show to be so preoccupied, but he's only away from his PC, not from Internet.Kitch wrote:Hukley's gonna be so sad that he missed so much awesome this coming four weeks.

If you think he is worrying now, just wait till the pups actually come

King is in a panic, but going about it right. He wants to be sure his lady takes care of herself and the pups. He's come such a long way, and I can't wait to see him as a daddy!
The animated signature I've used for years is too big for this forum! When I get time, I'll have to deconstruct it and make it smaller!

I'm already wondering if they are going to tell their pups about whom King used to be.
Also, keep panicking, please, King. You're adorbs when you do.

For that matter...how many of the Housepets know? Did Keene spill the beans to the general public despite not having any useable footage? Do only the group who went down under know? Did Peanut ever figure out who Mr Dogsmell smelled like? ( I got the feeling he was more interested in sniffing Cerbs than to pay attention to her conversation with Fox and Joel ).Tooths wrote:I'm already wondering if they are going to tell their pups about whom King used to be.
