I'm currently at school trying not to fall asleep and when I get home I will probably go back to crunching numbers and talking with my "business partners"

Drawing. Then realising that I should be studying.

Turns out I didn't want to study anyway so I'll just go on forums then sleep.

Settling into my new dorm. Recovering from a cold/allergies. I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow to unpack.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Well i visited my parents and my cat after work.
It seems my cat wont make it that long anymore after they diagnosed a bad tumor in her nose she had problems breathing since then.
I hope she will make it longer but since she is already 12 years old and currently having chemotherapy its not looking too good.
The breathing went better a few weeks ago but since then it got worse :/
After i went back home i finished chapter 1 of my Fan-Fic and now im gonna think about whats next maybe create some subs for a series im watching or maybe playin some games like Assassins Creed Chronicles China, GTA V, CS:GO or a few Rounds of ARAM in League of Legends.
My Fan-Fic Fox goes to Heaven (again)

I watched Age of Ultron. Great movie, would recommend. Came home at 1 AM, had a bit of trouble doing the thing where you remember what's happening as other things are happening, lack of sleep is odd.

Broke out my bike and got it in good enough shape to ride around. I miss the wind I'd feel as I pedalled around my neighbourhood.

Cranking away on python code.
I finally got the earthquake relocation model automated, so now I can step through different "models" of the planet,
with different seismic velocities in an upper and lower layer of the earth's crust. Then I locate my seismic events, and
see which model yields the smallest misfit in the data. There's likely a layer in there, something like a transition from sandstone to granite, and they have different speeds for the seismic waves. Sometimes the waves get to the stations early, and other times, late. The waves take different paths from different locations. If I hit upon a model that is halfway close to real life, I should see the misfits get smaller. So, that's what I've been doing today. All day.

...and I think I might quit for the day and have a beer. My model is iterating through about 200 iterations right now. :p

I'm planning to go out and do some food shopping and to get a prepaid SIM card for the mobile phone I have (I wish I didn't have to have one, I don't like mobiles, but its become clear that without it people are finding it too hard to contact me), than after I get back and pack away my shopping I have to look around on the net for details on how I can finally get my hot water service replaced by the tradesmen, because the events of March and April have seen nobody cracking down on it. 6 weeks without hot water, while not completely loathsome, is just unacceptable. I don't like having to force the issue even harder, but I given the landlord, real estate and the tradesmen far long enough to comply and things are not happening.

I have the distinct feeling "have" was not the word meant to be there...

Technically my real cheap nasty mobile does have a SIM card, however I mistakenly though when I first got it, the phone was defective. However apparently I'm really bad with installing things even with instructions. By the time that was realized the prepaid SIM card in it had expired and I'd lost to details on how to activate it. It probably doesn't answer the question however too well.

Originally that phone was meant to be a test to see if I could keep a mobile phone without losing it since I have a nasty habit of misplacing things permanently.

Today was my first day of work at my new job. I'm in auxiliary maintainance, so I fix and change out faulty equipment (lights, plumbing, etc.) in a building fairly close to where I live. :) Pretty good so far, I think - though I'm not sure about how I'll feel changing lights two or three stories up in the air. :?

Are you at least somewhat experienced in plumbing/electrical stuff? While anyone can change lightbulbs or a leaking p trap, changing a light fixture or an entire toilet can be a little more tricky.

Or does bigger stuff like that just go straight to an electrician or plumber?

I have to a meeting at work, the same job that wants to lay me off wants to give me a small raise. It's better not to think too hard about these things. I also have occupational therapy.
