I'd like some snow, haven't seen any 'round here since November.
Haven't had a good amount in two years...

And speaking of snow... here are some adorable creatures playing in it

Our snow from a few days ago still hasn't melted fully. I wish our weather would make up its mind. Snow again, or warm up.

You all can move here, right now it's 52 degrees (F) outside and sunny.

We've got 3 or 4 inches of snow right now where I am, and it's still snowing. :)

I can't believe its almost March in the semester and it feels like its only just started. That is of course because of all the snow days.

I got classes cancelled and my professor expects me to attend an online lecture at the normal class time. That is not a thing that will be happening.

I know, but I feel comfortable enough in that class to skip one more time. I'd already committed to staying up lat and wasn't about to change my mind.
now what I shouldn't have skipped was the online lab meeting she had in preparation for tomorrow's likely cancellation, but I didn't check my email and find out about it until 2 hours after it started and now I hope that doesn't hurt me much.

Chat Thread 42: The Answer To Life The Universe & Everything

Post by dtlux1 »

Two weeks ago we were supposed to have a half day on the Friday, but there was a 2 hour delay, so school was canceled that day, and we were off on the Monday for President's Day. We had a 2 hour delay on Tuesday, and we had a full day on Wednesday. Then due to weather, we were off on Thursday and Friday. It was great to have two 4 day weekends in a row. This week we had two 2 hour delays.

I count a full week of school one without half days, delays, or days off. Using this system, I am at the end of week 8 of school this trimester, and we have not had one full week of school yet. It is too bad that this won't happen for all 12 weeks before the end, that would be interesting. :D

well they already addressed his reaction to the death of a hero of his with Professor Proton. :P
now let's not turn this into a Big Bang Theory discussion since not everyone watches it (also it's somewhat a controversial show cause most people either love it or hate it)

I only watched one or two of the movies, and they were not something I'd normally watch but were good. It is sad to hear of this news, even if I haven't watched Star Trek much at all.

Other than that and Star Trek, I have no idea what else he's done... think I should look into that.

He also did some "Voice acting" (and I am putting quotes around that because I don't think it counted as acting) in the Civilization 4 game, I thought he was in CIV5 as well. He usually would narrate different achievements in the skill tree you made as you advanced the game.

I remember seeing multiple posts about Leonard Nimoy being admitted to as hospital. I guess I got the luxury of preparing myself for what I suspected was to follow.

He had a long history of COPD, so it came as less of a surprise to movie buffs.

They'd probably use the same actor for they did for Into Darkness. Leonard was from the original Star Trek, not the newest movies I think.

Zachary Quinto. Leonard Nimoy was only in the first new movie Spock from the future of the original timeline.
