Warm, fuzzy feeling: I just finished a pair of icons for Valentine's Day. And for once, I'm actually slightly satisfied with how they turned out.

...I just realized this will be the first time ever that I'll have an icon I made myself on dA.

How embarrassing...

Sorrow: Our dog peed and pooed all over the media room, one of the only rooms in the house that up until now had remained clean. Now that she's done it once, I don't think we can trust her to stay in there overnight anymore - we're going to have to keep her out in the garage, no matter how cold it may get.
I cleaned up the mess, so - Happy Valentines Day, Mom.

Sorrow: I have work today. Good thing I don't have a valentine, or else it might be awkward.

I'm going back to bed now. Hopefully I'll feel better after a few more hours of sleep.

Sorrow: We're supposed to get a really bad ice storm here on Monday/Tuesday, and I'm scheduled to work on those days; my boss said that the store won't close. I live on a long, winding, hilly road. I'm genuinely worried that I'll crash on the way to work.

If you can't get there on time or if you don't feel you will get there safely no matter what you do, then don't go. If your boss files a report, file a complaint with corporate. Any boss should be able to understand and agree with why you did it.

Joy: My Valentine's day was the greatest and most memorable by far. I got to hang out with my mate and I couldn't be happier. Now I've got a wolf hat and a plethora of chocolate to eat. *w* I hope that everyone's Valentines day was awesome, and if not, here's a belated Valentine's day hug! *Hugs*

Joy: A nice relaxing day so far... I'm feeling a bit motivated to rework a past project to make it sound better, so that'll be fun!

Sorrow: I have school tomorrow. It MIGHT, might get called off due to the wind chill going under -20, but that could change at any time (Today's weather was -37, that was NOT fun to go out in). I'm just gonna continue to hope.

I didn't. I used a damp face cloth. But I guess it was too damp. But that leads me to my next point:

Joy: The ice storm swung to the north and the roads weren't as bad as I feared they would be, so I made it home safely last night. The roads should be clear today as well.

Water + Computer Components = Never do it.
Can of air is all you will ever need to clean stuff. If it's stuck on there, Q-tip and rubbing alcohol.

If it helps you out Dayzee, some laptops have changeable keyboards. I know that my laptop does, and it's rather easy to do too. You may want to look into that if you'd like all of your keys to work again.

While I'm here, Sorrow: It snowed about 9 or so inches here and that sucks because Delaware doesn't handle plowing snow very well. My truck got stuck once and nearly got stuck another... 3 or so times today. Should be better tomorrow (I hope).

As long as you don't try and run too much power through those keys, the water should evaporate and they'll function again. If they short, though, your keys are done for.

I had my appendix removed about 9 or 10 years ago. They only found out that it was ruptured because I had a kidney stone. And while I was at the hospital, they made me a heart pillow with Charizard on it.

The nice thing about getting your appendix removed - you never have to get it removed again.

Joy: Planning a cruise to Alaska this summer - I think I'm going to go on a sled dog excursion and a scenic train excursion. ^^

Sorrow: Money's going to be tight the next few months - besides the cruise excursions and associated souvenirs, I've got to save for BLFC (anyone else planning on going?), on top of rent and groceries for when I go out to Utah. No frivolous purchases (yet).
