Wow, AuraSight! That's really good!
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

That looks really cute! I just love how it came out! Really great job on that!
Re: Another bit of fanart
Very cute! I love the linework specifically. :3

Re: Another bit of fanart
Nice draw, also if Grape looks a bit twisted.
I have a cool and funny idea for an Housepets! artwork, the problem is realize it, as usual... Anyone wants to know it?

It looks like she's thinking about how to best get revenge on someone. I love the way this came out. Nice picture!

I've been slacking off doodling yet again, so hey, I'd like to know what you've got in mind there, and see if I can help!Cesco wrote:Nice draw, also if Grape looks a bit twisted.

Re: Another bit of fanart
I have decided to continue the theme from my previous Housepets! fanart, this time with Great Kitsune!
However, due to other pressing projects, I'm going to be leaving this as a sketch for a while. Still, I thought I might post it here for those who might enjoy it!
This will eventually be colored and so-forth. The song of inspiration is Yuki Kajura's Let The Stars Fall Down. It sounds so playful, yet powerful, just like our favorite trickster demigod!

Re: Another bit of fanart
Nice sketch, you should complete this work. Eh, that was an easy game to play, Great Kitsune.
It's not something easy, it's really hard, indeed. It's a parody of this famous paint with many characters as possible. For the characters on the front I thought to put, from left to right, Fido, Fox and Bailey. Guess who takes the part of the baby?RemonyRavine wrote:I've been slacking off doodling yet again, so hey, I'd like to know what you've got in mind there, and see if I can help!

Unfortunately I don't recognize that painting, though I am curious of where it comes from regardless. My goodness, though, that's indeed a lot of characters to draw. Think we can compromise the quantity a little bit? *nervous laugh*
Re: Another bit of fanart
Great job Aura. Kitsune looks awesome!
Also, I found this one on twitter made by a user named Mandog202. (the other corgi is Mandog's character Dan)

Re: Another bit of fanart
Thank you very much! I used pretty much every strip with him in it as reference. xDSaturn381 wrote:Great job Aura. Kitsune looks awesome!
Which, interestingly enough, it seems that only in the first strip in which Great Kitsune appears can we see that he indeed has nine tails:
In every other strip his tails are obstructed.
I needed to be sure how many tails he had before drawing him, or it would have annoyed me.

Re: Another bit of fanart
He always had nine tails. I believe that is what a Kitsune is, but don't quote me on that. Anyway, those pictures all came out nicely!
Re: Another bit of fanart
From Japanese mythology, more powerful kitsunes get more tails up to 9. How that reflects on the Great Kitsune is unknown.
You certainly did a great job with him AuraSight
And WOW those two grump corgis are pretty much the highlight of my evening

Re: Another bit of fanart
Great job, Aura! You have some real talent.
I sure am glad Genii didn't make my corgi size proportional to my human size. Actually, I think he just used Pete's mould of King to make me - unoriginal copycat.
*I wasn't being a copycat! I did my research - you and I both know your first real fursona was a corgi. I could have made you a droopy-eared basset hound or a flat-faced bulldog, like those online quizzes said you were - I still can...maybe even a mix - that's original. *
*No! You're right. It's fine. A corgi is fine.* ^^;

King can't be the shortest character ever made. Nice and funny draw.
Probably you're right.RemonyRavine wrote: *snicker* Imma guess King?
Renato replied you concerning that question. It wouldn't be fair remove characters, that's the best thing of it.RemonyRavine wrote:Unfortunately I don't recognize that painting, though I am curious of where it comes from regardless. Very nice last artworks. Don't speak, you're liking to be hugged like that, Grape.

Re: Another bit of fanart
Well. looks like I finished this faster than expected. Seems I can't just leave an unfinished work alone.
So here's Great Kitsune in all the glory I can give him!
Song of inspiration: Let The Stars Fall Down
Looks like I am continuing this series of fanarts. They kinda do look like movie posters...
But hey! I'm doing this for the fans of Housepets, and I thought it would be really cool if you voted on the next fanart I do, so here's the full list of characters I plan to draw, along with the song the picture will be set to (All of these will also be titled after the song):
Spirit Dragon: The Dreams Fade Before Dawn
Tarot: The Beginning of the End
Sabrina: Babylonia
King: Rule the Battlefield
Pete: Grief OR This Day and Never Again
Cerberus: Tragedy and Fate
If you like these style of fanarts that I'm making, it would be awesome if even a few people mentioned which character they'd like to see next. I'm curious. ^^"

I would just love to spend time with Karishad! I don't even get annoyed that easily! He is really funny!
Re: Another bit of fanart
Very nice and funny, great work.
Endure Karishad? Oh no, the fourth test can't be so terrible... But maybe, he's really better than Duchess (he's funnier), think about that, Bino.

As long as their aren't any 'Bailey as Aeris' pics...
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.
