I really wouldn't doubt it at all, I haven't heard any auditions for him, but then again I haven't really looked around at all, lol.

 I LOVED that voice for Spo! I laughed all throughout!

As for the Miles and Keene lines...it sounded more like you were trying to get the words right, rather than focusing on how you were saying them. As before, though, I think your voice works better for Keene than Miles (Darryl was harder to peg since his voice only came at the end of the Miles audition)....

EDIT: I'm voicing King, but I e-mailed my auditions as attached files directly to Ebly, so there's no link for you to hear them at, sorry....

I have....

This may be a personal thing, but the voices didn't match the voices I have in my head for the characters. Marvin, for example--I imagine him sounding kind of high-strung.

In addition to which, too much background noise (or whatever it was), and I couldn't always make out what you were saying even with the volume all the way up. It didn't help that you would start reading the lines of characters you weren't auditioning for and then transitioning into "blah blah blah"....

Yah, Thegamist, your auditions are ruined for me by the background noise. Your voice is pretty quiet, but if I turn it up I get the background noise drowning it out. Sorry, but I can't really comment unless you manage a clearer recording. Have you got Audacity? It's a free and legal download if not, and a very good program. I use it for my recordings, and all of my editing. It also has a noise removal feature you might find useful. Just highlight the noise you want to be removed (So a part where you're not talking), then highlight the whole recording and tell it to remove that type of noise. It won't do it perfectly, but it'll let us hear you at least :)

Also, I'm glad you guys liked the recordings. ChewyChewy; I half agree with you and half don't. The Keene lines certainly sound like I was just reading them, because I was! I imagine him speaking quite fast, and certain phrases (Such as "Because it's technically not true for three separate legal reasons) are VERY hard to say fast in that voice XD
Also, I found bits of his dialogue in that comic quite awkward, like "Our steward" (VERY hard for a British person to say while putting on an American accent!) and "Are you fine with all that?", just because I honestly didn't feel it fit the character or the situation. I don't know how Rick meant for that line to be delivered, so I kinda went flat >_>

However, I'm not sure I agree that Miles has the same. That is just how I see him as speaking. He's self-educated (Or at least that's what's been heavily implied) so I imagine a very 'proper' voice that pronounces everything right and doesn't use many abbreviations or slang. For example, look at this comic; https://www.housepetscomic.com/2010/01/ ... -nor-face/
The only short version is "don't". Other than that everything is exact and proper; "I apologise" instead of "I'm sorry", "It has been a" instead of "It's a", and "Children" instead of "Kids" or "Cubs" (Although the last one is a little moot, seeing as he does refer to them as kids in other comics >_>)
Still, that's the reason I read Miles like I do. With Keene it was just an awkward comic :p

Mhmm. Besides, it's summer. It's natural for people to go places. And like Ebly said, the wait shows testament to your commitment! ... Or something like that, anyway. So no, the project is not cursed.
