Looking great so far!
Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
Out of curiosity, what is the limit of players here and the current numbers?

Jolly Cooperation and etc!
Anyhow, I meant liek the active and inactive players, who needs to be asked if they are ever coming, and if we can still bring people in.

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
Please could you let me know if there's ever a timeskip, or if there's ever a point where joining could happen naturally? I've tried joining RPs before when something else was happening, and it kinda always ends badly.

The only thing happening is a long story about Aethon's ancient artifacts. Now's good ^^

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
if everyones up for it i beleive sometime would be good for a timeskip, not sure how long yet but since its september and DESTINY released im thinking of closing in the time gap in our neighborhood.

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
Why do a timeskip? It wouldn't help the story at all at this point. I think that given that Orange and Kamatari just walked away from Aethon's story, this would be as good a time as any for 44 to introduce his character once his character is (re)approved. I'm not sure what Orange and Kama have planned but this could be a chance for the guinea pigs and Aethon to meet up with Rendak and the others and do something as a group.
So my vote regarding the skip is no, but that's something for the GMs and/or the player vote for to decide.

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
Too many skips aren't good for an RP either, I think, as you lose all sense of progression of the story. RA, for example, has had just one time skip in the year since I joined it and that was to allow some characters to heal so we could get them back in the game.
The only reason the skips are frequent in 17CF is to spare us the monotony of sea voyages and I'd like to cut down on the amount of skips even there if I can.
So I think my vote for a skip later on will still be no unless it's really necessary just because I do think they can be disruptive to the story when done in excess.
It's great that you're willing to listen to your players though. That's the mark of a good GM, I think.
I am still open to the skip if the players and/or GM decide it's necessary or wanted though. This is one area where being a mod doesn't mean anything.

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
I don't think the time skip is necessary. We just started the day, we can't just skip every time the intensity fades.
I was going to have Orange and Kama meet up with the newer players, whoever they may be (with hyper's permission)
I don't really like the big groups too much because of how lost people (myself) can get when it happens.

Hello everyone... I am sorry for my long absence and have no one to blame but myself for it, I have read the messages in my inbox, and though I may have permission from a GM to continue with my characters, I would like to know if you ware willing to let me back yourselves as players of RG

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
Me neither. I can understand how it can be easy to get lost. I don't think 5 players in a group is too much to keep track of though but I think you wouldn't want any more than that otherwise it does get confusing.MrNeonShot wrote:I don't really like the big groups too much because of how lost people (myself) can get when it happens.
Welcome back, Wolven! Great to see you again! I'd love to have you back in the RP if the GMs are happy to have you.WolvenPaw15 wrote:Hello everyone... Last you left off, Horus took your character(s?) home and ordered some wood to repair the violin. Ever since then, Horus and Orange have turned into females. Glad your back! ^ω^

I'm hoping this doesn't have anything to do with what I said. I'd rather not have the RP suffer in any way.Hotep the psychic wrote:im allowing a vote i like to hear from the players. i didnt say diresctly after i just said soon so it can be later.

Just have him walk own the street and meet someone. Or perhaps go around to visit Aethon. There's heaps of things you can do. ^^

Sorry for being so slow. I've had to wait for Rendak to post.
He also apologises. Apparently he's had a lot going on lately.

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
So I finally asked Rick and we now have a definitive size for the guinea pigs.
He says the following:
He says the following:
So there you are. They'd probably be like eight or ten inches tops, I'd say. Maybe a foot at a stretch. I didn't expect them to be quite that small but I like it. It'll be fun.Rick Griffin wrote:"They'd probably be like ultra-sumo mice
Like, no bigger than a dog's head I think"
Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC

Not the most active OoC are we? I feel like we should discuss bringing more people into RG.

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
I think so too. I feel like this RP is almost dead.
Part of it is my fault for being so slow to post here lately and I apologise for that.
I think once Mickey has had a good chance to advertise his RP in the main OOC the GM ought to advertise RG there again too.

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
Actually, I think I'm leaving Radiant Gardens. I'm not gonna have Orange move out because she just moved in, so I'm just gonna have her character stay living in Radiant Gardens, but I'm not going to play as her. If anyone feels like they want to take Orange on as a second main for them, feel free to.

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC
Oh noes! What would bring you to leave us? D:
Also how will you deal with her if no one is willing to take her as a main? Then she'll have to be moved out.

Her time would be prioritized to the botanic gardens, but she'd still live in Radiant Gardens.
