Poor Fido, so worried bout his girl.
Re: 2014/09/29 - Time Zone Out
The reaction of Fido in the 3rd panel just won the interweb.

Was Fido working out? He seems a bit more muscular then usual. And is it me, or did Peanut mature a bit? Also, +1 for the 3DS!

Am I alone in feeling that we missed out on what's been going on in Babylon Gardens? Not in a angry/sad way (ok, a little of that, to be honest) - but more curious about what's been going on.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Whilst you're living over there, life is also going on over here. It never stands still and we see less than a fraction of a percent of it, bud.Douglas Collier wrote:Am I alone in feeling that we missed out on what's been going on in Babylon Gardens? Tarot troubles fierce Fido
down the telephone line.
Peanut doesn't ponder or pause -
she's fine, she's fine
Fido frets over his love,
the luckiest Black cat around.
Sabrina strikes to his heart;
is their love on solid ground?
Real relationships over the net
are hard to maintain over time.
A life-line for Fido to live by?
She's fine, she's fine, she's fine.
Re: 2014/09/29 - Time Zone Out
Peanut, you are the king of bad timing.
Re: 2014/09/29 - Time Zone Out
Peanut, did you ask her if the dingo ate someones baby ?
Re: 2014/09/29 - Time Zone Out
Every time I must leave my dogs behind for vacation, I get all Fido, yup.

Well, Peanut does intimate that Tarot sounded sad. If Fido wasn't worried before, he sure looks it now...

I don't know why, but Peanut looks cuter than usual in this strip. Maybe it's just refreshing to see him again ^^
Re: 2014/09/29 - Time Zone Out
Aww, that's the first time we've seen Peanut tell Tarot he loves her. <3
Re: 2014/09/29 - Time Zone Out
And another thread from my "loose ends" list gets tied off. Thank you, Rick.

I don't even have the time to figure out the last time we saw these two, especially in the same strip.

I think is this one seven months ago, at the end of Arc 74 (both in the same strip, I mean )

Nah I wouldn't do the same with my dog, simply I don't have one
I really like it the trained police dogs is pretty nervous and the other one is....okay he is simply Peanut he is well known for keepin a cool head and that's the thing I like the most on him
Also I don't think Fido looks more buff than usual, he is just trained and standing next to a pretty normal dog.
I think that's why he looks so buff.
Wonder how Kevin would look next to Peanut.....

Still a pity that Peanut and Fido couldn't make the trip, but it was probably for the best anyway.

Slargon the Enforcer. Sounds like a giant robot. I hope I am right on this.
Still loving Peanut's casual attitude, both good and bad. nothing fazes him. Even Fido's reasonable concerns. X3

Peanut somehow got ahold of a copy of SSBB4, even though it doesn't come out until Friday.

Re: 2014/09/29 - Time Zone Out
Nice see these two again. Despite the so weird requests that Tarot is doing to Peanut, he still loves her (he's isn't caring so much about that current one, anyway). I guess that Fido was still crying for the Sabrina's trip, he misses her a lot. That's a good excuse, Peanut, but did she sound sad while talking to you on the phone? Maybe you learned that from your parents... You innocent pup. Ok, continue to play with your 3DS.

YES! This could be one of the best strips ever.

I know, right? I just melted from how adorable that was. (Although was that really the first time? Coulda sworn there was one other time...or maybe that's my imagination.)Kitch wrote:Aww, that's the first time we've seen Peanut tell Tarot he loves her. <3
Gotta admire Fido's devotion for Sabrina, too. Can't wait for those two to see eachother again, embrace ever so lovingly!...Or Sabrina might pull another joke on him just to make the poor pup's heart skip a beat again and I'll have a gigglesnortfit.
Fido: Oh, it's so good to see you again, sweetheart!
Sabrina: I missed you too, hon...oh no, my other ex-boyfriend who is a noble cat of a house in Australia came back with me!...Juuust kidding~
Fido: Ffff--...
And then we all laugh.

Aw Peanut, are you sad because you really miss Tarot, or because the game fell short of your expectations?

Fido is just a big softie at heart and misses the cat that he loves.
Of course, it doesn't help that people might think of him as a pariah for being a cat-lover.

Re: 2014/09/29 - Time Zone Out
That could be a VERY strong possibility. All that's left now is to add Grape and Maxwell into the mix and you've got Keene's new "Temple Crashers" team! (Or a real good opportunity for a "Ghostbusters" parody)Welsh Halfwit wrote:They may be needed to fight the Gargoyles.

3 options.DigitalMan wrote:... And only now do I wonder, how is he using that sort of phone, outside?
1. He's by the wall of his house.
2. He's wi-fi connected and it's Skype.
3. He's Peanut.
If options 1 and 2 fail then option 3 applies.
Re: 2014/09/29 - Time Zone Out
Applying Occam's Razor here, option four is a good one:Welsh Halfwit wrote:3 options...DigitalMan wrote:... And only now do I wonder, how is he using that sort of phone, outside?
