Ouch, its like Rick picked the Wild card: Everybody wins... Except Sinder...and anyone else who still favors the Grape/Peanut thing, including me. Oh well, at least they're both happy. The story will go on

I smell a plot device... I think he's trying to replace the family's interest in pets. What a Villain.

Yeah, panel 2 is funny, but IMO panel 4 is even funnier xD.

I'm disappointed with this outcome for two main reasons:

And it still seems this way, especially for me, which was brought closer to my attention when Tarot said, "You have already made your decision; your place is with Maxwell now," when the decision referred to was a mistake spurred by this comic. It just makes the relationship feel inorganic.

The second reason is Peanut and Tarot. Tarot pops out of nowhere, wanting to help Peanut. There is NO development of their relationship at all here. Does Tarot even actually like Peanut? To quote one of the comments on the front page:

Now, keep in mind that I'm not flaming Rick for his decision; I know you can't please everyone. This is just how I feel about the situation.

On a separate note: That last panel is just ADORABLE~<3

Tarot may not have much development yet, but the basic of her relationship is simply that she wants to help Peanut. Her helping Peanut through tough times is a good enough reason for Peanut since she came out of nowhere just to be with him. (Eveeyone wants to know, but really, Tarot's story involves being mystical at first. whose to say she was watching Peanut all this time?

As for Grape, it's true that there are hints of a inner feeling in Grape and Peanut that they could indeed develop into a cat/dog relationship, but part of the problem is that Grape, unlike Peanut, thinks highly against it as was also hinted in the early days of the comic. Sure, there is a hint there, but it would take alot of work for Grape to fix that problem. and being that she wants to take the easy route all the time, it's more than likely not going to happen since Maxwell can more than likely put a hammer on those kind of feelings.

and i'm sure as it was hinted to Grape already, she doesn't want that kind of drama. she wants her life to be simple, not complicated! give the complicated love plots to Peanut!

Last note: I'm curious to find out if Sabrina started her relationship with Fido the same way now that i think about it. if Sabrina and Tarot have similarities, i wonder if they have similar relationship sparking moments as well? it seems likely that Sabrina may have helped Fido with his tough times finding a girlfriend, and offered to help him the same way Tarot did, but less mystical.

I think its because Sinder wants you to admit how much you want Peanut and Grape to get together. You don't know how badly he wants it.

In all honesty, although I thoroughly enjoyed this story arc, I've looking forward to single story comics for awhile now. Drama can only be entertaining for so long for me.
