I love how Kari is show easily amused by the straw
And here comes Pete and Dragon, and it seems Pete is acting like a bit of a sore loser.
(And, maybe it's because it's late here, but I almost thought that was a piece of poo in Bailey's drink...until I realized it was a pickle)

I love the alt. text joke. Karishad is awesome as ever.

The Milkshakes look good! Kinda wish they had chocolate ones, but seeing as how they are all animals, yeah.

I say that they were both turned into pets, which is why they are entering the shop. The shop is the beginning of the end. Just pure conjecture though.

This was already a very intriguing arc, and it somehow managed to become even more interesting. Bravo, Rick!

Speaking of that movie, it would be both funny and awesome if this arc ended like the movie Pulp Fiction (Finally saw that movie earlier this year and loved it)

Meh i think Pete is calling them losers for backing out of the duel. Either that or hes really ticked off about Bailey dissing him and has come to take her back. Dragon too regarding Tarot and Sabrina. I do hope Kings plan is working and that the Mana helps to fix things too.

And heck yeah i thought the waiter was Joel with glasses.

as Kari drives the soda guy mental.
None (bar Rock) ordering food from the menu,
but all of them having a pleasant time,
With sodas and sundaes and straws
and Daryls' shakes; both Strawberry and lime.
Their time is theirs alone now, King & Bailey;
perhaps they may want to get a room?
Pity they're interrupted by new voices.
Pity those voices are the ones of doom...

Second, there's gonna be AWESOME revelation about the jerks' look -something like "See? We were here so close to you and you NEVER got it!" I can't imagine why King and Bailey should make that face otherwise, since they were expecting the coming of the punks.
That, or P&D found a way to circumvent the magic lantern's effect by turning themselves mortal for the time being. whoopsie

I'm not sure they can heckle them too much, since they're in a diner and that would be "disturbing the peace" (maybe)
Unless they plan to give them one of those parent talks where one of them is clearly grumpy and the other is trying their best to convince them that they're not in trouble... or just straight up plead for them to come back cuz that works too I guess.

However, I think that no matter what events lie ahead, this will end happily for everyone. This seems like a very calm scene to have the resolution, and judging by the atmosphere of this scene I don't think that anything TOO horrible or crazy could happen.

I'd say it's a distinct possibility, since it's the only ones missing from the main panel. Plus, it fits since Pete works for Keene and Keen could have informed Pete of the plan. Way to make sure to stay in touch with the situation's development and bypass the lantern thing.
