I just noticed in panels 3 and 5 his King piece tag is missing also possibly in panels 6 and 7 as well (but I guess it could be hidden by his arm.)

Maybe they hang low enough to be obscured by the table or maybe they are detachable? Or maybe Rick just forgot.

Strangely,
I have this as well, only I forget to shave my self.

And for some reason, this came to mind on the first panel.

well, come to think of it, the first clue that King has a new owner is the razor and shaving foam. Considering that Pete can keep his appearances at will, he does NOT need such items in his bathroom...

Lets just wait for the reveal on what happens with King. Does he have a new owner? Is he home alone? Or is Pete still there trying to get King to join him?

While this might be true (and I hope it is) it could be that Pete keeps those things there for appearance sake.

Fridge logic.

A pet sink is fully plausable. But, why would a pet sink have a razor and shaving cream?

Answer: A wizard did it. In this case: Pete is a jerk.

Respect for Rick. (more then usual)
14 king's on one comic.
personally, making a mirror image is a pain.

also, 6 comics in a row with 8 panel sized story's

But come to think of it, why is there a shaver and shaving foam in the bathroom anyway?

Simply an object for a gag. Not anything worth thinking about, really.

Also, he can reach the sink because he is on a stool? But you'd think he'd remember the DOG thing once he had to climb up to see the mirrror...

Or MAGICAL LOWERING SINK FTW, well anyways, it could be there just because the pets are all about that height. X3 idk

Sorry xD

And exactly what were a razor and shaving cream doing at King's sink anyway?

Exactly what I asked 3 posts earlier :P. But no valid answer yet. But first things first: Didn't Pete forbid him to go to the bathroom/toilet?

I think its more than likely possible (as stated earlier in the comic's own comments section, though I can't remember who) that since Pete was more or less forbidding him, now that he's gone, King is going through the motions of what he used to do as a human. More than likely, had Pete been around he would've already come thundering in asking "King! What do you think you're doing?"

Keep in mind King doesn't look like a morning person and after a bad night's rest, I will have no shame in admitting I've missed the first turn out of my room and end up walking right into the wall right outside my door. This looks more like King (when he was previously Joel) did this routine ever single day. If king is in his 30s then he's like been doing this since he was in his late teens. Muscle memory like that doesn't just disappear after a few months of inability. The instant he was no longer getting stopped this was more than likely to happen as if nothing had ever changed.

And ow, crashing into walls half asleep hurts.

The L-"word" is censored I think. I would have used "hilarity" or some other actual word.

You know I just thought of something:

If Pete IS in fact banned from the arena, and cannot manifest as his human self anymore, then:

King was found in a CAGE at the bottom of the stairs the previous night. His owner is gone and is NOT coming back. What would you think if you were someone in authority? I think if all of the above is true, Pete in the form of his human manifestation just became an unwelcome sight in BG. It's kind of blown up in his face. The only way out would be to erase some memories, and then the GM would smack him again.

Plus, he can't do anything more to King by the GM's order.

Methinks that he woke up and hoped/thought that it all had been a dream... That or comedicaly he just didn't remember.

Wild conjecture here but... I think that the babylon gardens area itself is the arena. Pete was found in a forest outside of BG and he first manafested himself to Joel who was in court presumably outside of BG since Pete had to astral jump them both there.

Bah, I cling to the wild crazy and insane hope that it'll all make sense one day because I...

Also, i suddenly got this funny idea of poor Fox copying King's behavior someday just because he's alot more easier to hang around with than Bino.

Yeah the shaving instruments are most likely for show so if people come to the house, they can asume that Pete is a normal human. But it really made me laugh when King started shaving himself.
