Well that depends on what you mean by "local food"...you mean like food sourced locally from the nearest farms to where I live or local dishes that no-where else has?

If you mean the former...well, here in Britain, if we can produce it, it's in our supermarkets. If not, we get it from other countries.
If you mean the latter, I don't know of any local delicacies that you can't get anywhere else...I think that's more a coastal town thing. I live more in-land.

As I don't have any presently, I'll say it was my former math then physics teacher. He was a really cool guy. In our physics advanced course we were drawing a sundial on the schoolyard where you had to stay at the right month to get the right time.
