Re: Art Thread
Amazing one, Laxan. Now that you say it, I would love to see how you can draw the comic's characters! Make a guest comic, maybe? Good work Megamaster. That's cute, Copper, good to have reported it.

Great work! Uhm, it's not so similar, because you've sharpened your face in the draw. Pretty tender the second draw.

Love your oc Megamaster. And King looks so cute! I just wanna hug him, he looks so upset. Good job on the expression.
In other news.
CALLING ALL WRITERS!
Looking for an art trade with a writer. I have two Ocs, a setting and a general basis for a story.
Wanting a Short Romance Story wrote for mine and my friend's Fairy Characters; Xeb & Neelra (will have a pic up soon)
I have the complete setting and the character's defined out. The story would be a romance between the two, (think Romeo and Juliet but with a happy ending)
Willing to do multiple drawings for it. <3 P.M me if interested. That is all.

Nice QRS3000! Haven't used RMD in ages. ^_^
ALSO!
A new OC to go with Neelra. My friend who asked me to do Neelra then asked me to make her a love interest based off Laxan so yeah. Cue Xeb! (My name is Bex... So yeah. Genius am I right? |D)
I'll probably be doing a few f/f drawings of these two.
Name: Xeb Rahc
Pronunciation: (Zeb) (Rah-k)
Age: 44, (22 PA)
Gender: Female
Orientation: Homosexual
Height: 7.9" (Human form: 5'7)
Build: athletic
Race: Moon Pixie
Notes: She can switch between Human and Pixie. When in Pixie form she has wings and is 7.9" high. In Human form, no wings and she's 5'7".
New Neelra, resigned her to be a sun fairy.

Beautiful draws, Laxan, I love the new look of that tiger. Really funny, Hukley, I hope your leg gets better soon. Nice draws, QRS3000, interesting that website. Nice ones, Megamaster, but King's left ear is too much off position.
Right, appeal to the cartoon drawing is useful for many cases.Laxan wrote:Yeah... That's why it's called a cartoon not a life drawing. Duh.Cesco wrote:Uhm, it's not so similar, because you've sharpened your face in the draw.

Re: Art Thread
HEY COOL! An art thread! Haven't posted here yet! THIS IS ALL MAH COOL STUFFS!
1.) Basically a huge graphic novel project I've been writing and draft sketching for a few years. I thought I would make some legitimate promo stuff for it last year. Sorry about the guns, if anyone objects to them. *begs not to be punished* 2.) On a lighter note, here's the HP fancomic I put on the "lil' bit of fanart" thread, just in case you missed it. 3.) The lion I use for my DA profile pic. (You could consider it a fursona I guess ) It was a t-shirt design for a youth conference we went to a few years ago. If you all would like avatars (I made one for myself and Rathead so far. Also working on another one) or simple commissions for FREEEEEE, drop me a comment on my DA: http://www.jrodsqod.deviantart.com
It's in desperate need of a kickstart (I don't bite)
Thanks!

I agree, you are getting much better, Magaman. I see you're starting to put more emotion into their faces. Also not having them look crossed eyed helps to =P (Didn't want to say anything before).Mickey the Luxray wrote: Wow, Megamaster. Also, hanDesu that is a wonderful B-gift. She's very pretty. I love all the detail you did, especially her fur. I can't stop looking her.
As for me, I really haven't done to much in terms of final art work. Just been sketching and learning from tutorials and books. Figured I'd post a few things since it's been a couple weeks since my last.
If you're having a tough time drawing hair, there's an awesome tutorial I found, which is what these are from. Nothing epic looking, but I learned A Lot from it.

I forgot I did this drawing. It's Martin the Warrior from the animated series Redwall. I did this about a year ago.
Here's what it's supposed to look like. This is a screenshot from that series.

Re: Art Thread
Really nice draws Megamaster, yeah, there's improvement in the latest draws. Amazing draw, hanDesu! Nice sketches, Tatsuo, I've learned a lot about lightning and shadowing projections by doing 3D rendering, it's a good way to do it.
Not bad as result, Hlaoroo. Now, you may try to redraw it looking at the original draw using it as model, and finally see how much similar you can recreate it. And... I would need of a proof to see if this PROVET can really do that...

I know, and has been right that what I've read. I found about 8 Italians registered here, but surely there are way more Italian fans of this comic.jrodsqod wrote:Thanks, Cesco! Your fellow countryman, Valerio translated it into Italian for other fans! (Are there a lot of Italian Housepets fans?)

Lol how about just both =P. They're both awesome! But yeah I was talking about your latest one.hanDesu wrote:thank you =w=

Not a bad first attempt, Hlaoroo. Like, Cesco said, try and redraw it. Use some construction lines though. I'm sure that would help a lot.
As for me, I'm just try to find the best way to draw dragon heads. Each one was drawn differently using different methods, so they look very different from one another. The Dragon to the bottom left I had a really tough time with though. That one is from a book that I've been following and reading, and after drawing this head, I don't think I like the way she begins them. It's like there's foundation missing...Or I'm just a noob
It's really frustrating right now, but I'll get it.

This guy does a pretty good job at explaining what constructions lines are essentially used for. The first 5 or so minutes are the important bits.
Edit: If you'd like I can go into detail using this character to help teach ya. It's actually a very good character to learn the basic on because his head is relatively round. No snout or any real chin to worry about. At least at this angle.
