Funny story about Pokemon highschool for me: everyone would always say "Pokemon is for kids", yet when someone has a Pikachu Tamagatchi walker, they are suddenly talking how adorable he is.

Brings up another thing I remember when i was a kid. Remember the Pokemon Pikachu? I had one when I was a kid, but it was sadly because someone lost theirs. couldn't return it to whoever owned it in the first palce, but on the bright side? this Pikachu got alot of love at the school I was in. <3

You can get vhs tapes for dirt cheap. I try to add to my movie collection constantly
So a VCR kinda helps keep my wallet full

It's funny how much of the stigma against adults playing Pokémon has faded. Or maybe I'm just old enough now that no one really tries so hard to look like an adult.

I recommend against watching the first movie again. It did not age well.

I watched it recently, but at least that's back when your chances of encountering a single kind of pokemon were higher.

And really Team Rocket have no excuse for not getting their own Pikachu by now. they have magically discovered several continents and several hundred new pokemon, if they don't have it now they never will.

Hey, getting pikachu is hard! I only have one out of all 5 of my games. (FireRed, Diamond, Platinum, SoulSilver, and Black)

they are 3% common towards the end of Viridian forest in FR. I cant recall where they are in the other games.

My family have a VCR when I was wayy younger. Man, they built those things to last! I stuck popsicles, sandwiches, plastic dinosaurs, etc into that thing. Eventually it took too much, and the VCR couldn't be salvaged. Then we couldn't replace it because it was 2007 and the store only sold DVD players at that point.

I can't remember abusing our VCR at all, I probably messed with the tapes themselves more! Turning the dials with my fingers (or lips, oddly enough) was a favorite of mine. I also stuck my fingers into the tape opening a couple of times, which is probably the reason that sometimes the quality breaks down for a second or two.
It's really a shame that VHS is dead. The tapes were (almost) kid-proof, unlike those new-fangled Blu-VD Digital Copy-paper thingamajigs those youngins have now!

speaking of old stuff, I found a very old computer being thrown away. so I picked it up and ran it... OMG, windows 98!!
