Joy: Thursday was the first time we actually got a practical in a handling lesson! I mean yeah we had already done two sciency practicals, one heart and one lung dissection, but it was our first ever handling one! WHOOT!!!!!!! Unfortunately due to the rain the outside small mammal enclosures were off limits because they all refused to come out and the inside ones were off because of the over handling limits per animal so instead went straight to exotic reptiles!

I got to hold a bearded dragon only a bit longer than my hand (not including the tail of course)and a (I think it is called) Blue tongued skink. Who was biiiiiiig. I had to hold him with both hands and he was still spilling over!

We tried for the female but she hissed at us so we backed off. And we wanted to get one of the snakes out but we ran out of time. (It took us a while to even get a purchase on that one. He was very meaty!

) It was a great day!

I'm a bit annoyed that I have to be in on Monday, even though it is not an in day for us, but the reasons are sound. The team I am in need to collaborate for our group presentation in a few weeks. The sorrow being all the other load of work thrown at us

. But all the others in my class are really nice. One of my partners even, very kindly, offered me a lift home on Thursday. Which was very nice of her. It would have taken me a VERY long time to walk back otherwise and I wasn't going to wait nearly two hours for the bus.
I absolutely detest the bus service. Not only is my bus STILL late all the time it is STILL taking us through random routes and stops off at half of the required destinations. They stopped going to my stop and refuse to tell us where the stops are for the other buses. I'm sorry but simply saying "cox green" does NOT give us any idea where we would end up giving the high number of bus stops dotted around. As it is I have to wait for the stupid bus for 45 mins to take me there, half an hour for it to even show up to take us back and then I walk for an extra half an hour because the old fart refuses to stick to his route.

joy: Awolnation concert was awesome. Twenty One Pilots was awesome as an opener. All night anime club event was awesome.

sorrow: since I had been up more than 24 hours when I went to sleep at 9AM, I slept until 6:30PM, so I didn't get anything done today.

Sorrow: Its really beginning to sink into me that the days of carefree roleplaying on a NWN server I've liked and supported are nearly over. The only DM is just too busy with real life and his other creation.

Sorrow: I just can't seem to really drum up any interest in the RPG's of the last six months, none really have seemed to appeal to me and anything that has are still in its alpha stage.

Semi-Sorrow: Haven't been doing well at my recent MTG matches. I just can't match most of the others strategies and cards. On the other hand however, I see great potential in my newest deck. Just need to get a few different cards to improve it.

Joy: When Saturday comes around, after I'm done playing at the card shop, I'll be gaming it up all night long!

Work ain't too bad. Sure, you gotta cut down on all the personal time at home, but it's what you make of it that counts. =P

Joy: Got myself some tools!
Sorrow: They cost me $20. I only have $10 now.

Joy: I did my first successful Nerf mod yesterday! It was an air-restrictor removal on my vintage Hyperfire.
Sorrow: No more dry-firing fun for me. There's a really loud crack when dry-firing and I know what that means and it isn't good.
Sorrow: First world problems! :l They make me seem so petty to be complaining about them.
Joy: School has been treating me well. Me and my mom came up with a system to help me do homework.
Sorrow: My school-provided laptop is dead and the charger is somewhere else and I can't find it. So I have to bring my 15" laptop around or face the consequences.

Sorrow: Because my laptop is dead I've had a harder time doing homework today since I needed it for my HW.
