Yes, I have. Wonder if she'll still be so high and mighty if SD decides to use replacement Sabrina and take away all her powers.

The part where she nearly confesses her love for Peanut suggests something awful to happen.

Now we just have to wait for the next strip where he realizes he doesn't know Tarot very well either. :D

Um. She is, kind of. The whole Universes & Unrealities crew is a group of adolescents playing a game.

In any case, teenagers aren't the only people who don't operate 100% on logic.
0.o I just thought of something. If they're just adolescents/teenagers then WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS????

Can you just imagine Pete's Momma? 0.o

Heehee, can you just imagine that as an ending for the game:

Pete's Momma: "Pete, Dragon, time to pack it up. Dragon's father is here to pick her up."
Pete: "Oh, but mooom-"
Pete's Momma: "Now, Pete!"
Pete and dragon *packs up game, leaves all the "pieces" as they are currently - i.e. King as a dog, Peanut and Tarot dating, Sabrina and Tarot with their powers, Zach and the woodlanders...

I swear Dragon's neck length changes to every panel =P. The last panel of Dragon, is my preferred anatomy of her. I've never really like long necks on dragons.

So the choice is made
and the floods have come.
The forced decision has hurt the sweet old eternal
and, yet, Peanut hasn't run.
He never wanted to hurt
this tender old Dragon,
but the matters of the heart couldn't be rendered null
and, even though she's ashen
he knows she can heal
with help from her friends -
whether from Tarot or even from him who denied her pull.
Heartbreak, like love... ends.

Alternate title: "cry me a river".

Or is that Wednesday's strip?

Sabrina comes to the rescue and nearly drowns. Everyone has to put aside their differences and work together to rescue her. HAPPY ENDING!

the quote was from "The Princess Bride"
Peanut will NEVER let Dragon stand there and cry him a storm.
Max is SO gonna find all this adventure cool, eventually! He's the kind of cat who loves a tough challenge.
Pete is SO gonna laugh his kidneys off.

I like how Peanut is basically ducking his head. Poor guy. X3

Sucks for Dragon, too. But I'm more curious if she will move on? Or will she hold a grudge?

Now I bet the rain will affect Grape and Max's date, but it's a question if it's for better or worse? Max always seems to turn a rainy situation into a romantic one =P

Oh yes, it was raining here this early morning when the strip was released...
And I really hope that this is fixed prior the weekend for the BBQ!

Rather than try to quote all the various comments about the length of Spirit Dragon's neck / body / claws / eyelashes, I'll simply respond saying that she (and the rest of the Celestial gang) only appear as projections in any given universe or dimension. I think that, more than the others, SD's mood effects her appearance wherever she happens to manifest. After all, Pete changes his appearance pretty much at will.

Max and Grape walking away from the trash cats. It suddenly starts raining. Max: "Oh yes! That's what was missing..." Grape: "It taste's salty. Is it raining salt water?"

Before I saw everyone making the same comment, I was amused that it was raining here in NW South Carolina when I first opened up the Monday strip.

Now, not so much. It went from "light but steady" to "Where's Noah's phone number, again?". :P

Two things I forgot to mention: Peanut's black paw pads are amazingly detailed and very well in this comic. Also liked Dragon's teeth in Panel 3.

I have a hunch that Pete and Kitsune will pick up on S.Dragon's break-up with Peanut.

She must have watched Shrek a lot of times to convince herself this could work. In all honesty I'm glad this didn't go the other way. We might have had a load of unwanted Draggies running loose in heaven and earth.

But now I wonder how much this'll affect the game, it doesn't look good to me unless all of Tarot's powers can be transferred to Sabrina.
Saber-Sonic wrote:well i still think he should get to know her then chose the dragon l
I don't think a date between them would work

Dragon is a serpent so she can probably make Peanut fall in love with him by hypnotism and if Dragon can see into the future she already knows a date would end badly. Also the gods don't apparently have to reside in their avatars body to walk among mortals but i'm going to assume that they can only transform into humans. As far as I see there's not enough evidence to say that Dragon is really shy, so if she could transform into a dog i think she'd have done it by now so she could get closer to Peanut. She could use Tarot's body but I doubt Tarot would let it get serious

I'd say smart money is on Pete at the point, even though he has been known to do some boneheaded things from time to time as well. <.<;
If this goes the worst way possible, Tarot no longer being Dragons Avatar, or even pretty bad, Tarots powers weaken even more due to them fighting, (which I think will happen) then yeah I would put money on Pete as well.

However saying Pete has only done some boneheaded things is kind of an understatement really. I think only one of his plans has even worked at this point, having the temple moved (and that was actually a retcon), every other plan hes had has been either out done by Dragon or backfired on him.
Not all of them. King HAS found a reason to want to stay a dog (thankfully). Whether he DOES want to stay that way hasn't been definitively stated yet, but you have to admit that Pete got what he wanted there.

Keep in mind that any limitations to the powers of the celestial beings we've seen thus far has been solely because they agreed to limit their powers for the sake of the game. Even if Dragon can't take physical form as whatever she wants right now, she'd be under no such restrictions once the game is over (for the record: that's regardless of who wins, considering the details of the punishment).

Regardless of what happens next, we'll be seeing the aftermath of this event for a long time to come.

Aw, I feel so bad for Dragon now. :( (Then again I probably would've felt bad for Tarot if he had chosen Dragon instead)

*sighs* Poor Peanut as well, he caused Dragon to be like this, and he probably isn't feeling too good either. And, to think, he was having such a great time too at the start of this arc.

I'd think she'd probably be very easy to beef consumme off right now. Cause, I dunno about everyone else, but I'm sure my mom wouldn't be too happy if I had done something to land myself in the court of law.

Ok yeah I forgot about that one, still its really only two plans (one of which was a retcon anyway so I don't know how much of that should really count but I'll give it to him) and his newest one to get King to be his avatar, that has a 99% chance of working even though it should logically just blow up in his face pretty easily.
