FANTASY WORLD REPORT: Bino Arrested for Catnip Trafficking
Babylon Gardens (FP) -
After numerous complaints from both dogs and cats alike, the Babylon Gardens Police Department have taken Bino into custody. Bino, manager of the local Good Ol' Dogs Club, has been suspected of buying large amounts of catnip from street dealers. Sources say that the catnip was used in various party pranks, some of which involved explosives. His charges include smuggling catnip, using a weapon, and verbal harassment.
Fido, Bino's brother and founder of the Good Ol' Dogs Club, has mixed feelings about the charges.
"I've always felt that people needed the proper punishment for their crimes, but this might be taking it a smidge too far."
We asked him if he could have done anything about it.
"Perhaps if I changed the management, this wouldn't have happened. Now I may not have a choice."
Another canine, who prefers to remain anonymous, had a few choice words over his attitude.
"Bino's a jerk. He has no respect for other people's feelings. I wish somebody could have done this sooner."
When asked about the GODC, he said, "Hopefully there is somebody out there that can manage it better, and perhaps make it more inclusive. I have no doubt in my mind that there are other people qualified for the position."
Bino's trial will take place in two weeks. He has chosen not to speak of the matter. Babylon law says that all punishments made on must be adjusted for the life expectancy of the individual.

Yeah, that was my idea. I thought it would be best to put it in the Fan Fiction section.
I have had this idea for a [magazine/blog/satirical newspaper] called Fantasy World Report for over a year. Instead of focusing on reality, it reports on fictional characters. I can see how this kind of journalism might upset some people, but seriously, it's only fiction (and fan fiction at that). It's not like this is anything real we're talking about.
Another example can be found here
I'll probably post a copy of this to FurAffinity, as long as Rick and FoxStar don't mind.

First I read the title, and I was like WHAT?! MORE WORK?!
And then I read it and chuckled. Seems harmless enough, though I would ask Rick before posting it on FA.

Hahaha. Wow, this this is rich.
Re: FANTASY WORLD REPORT: Bino Arrested for Catnip Trafficki
So just now I've taken my time to read this. I haven't even peeked inside before, because I was busy, and at times I wasn't busy, I was busy with stuff that I couldn't do while I was busy. This looks great and it's funny, really . So can we do this, too? Make up a story for the fantasy newspaper and post it as a new thread? Perhaps we should have one "Newspaper thread", with stories like this, and the OP linking to every story (It would have to be regularly updated).
So anyway... I haven't figured out who the anonymous canine is.

My guess would be King, or possibly Peanut, but mostly King :>

Now I don't know, a lot of pets think that Bino is a jerk. It could be Joey, too.
Re: FANTASY WORLD REPORT: Bino Arrested for Catnip Trafficki
You know that would be a great idea to create a Newspaper thread. Just write something funny and post it in that thread, rather than making new threads every time. Now as for the anonymous canine, it could be anyone, but the most likely of dogs who may say that are Peanut, King, Tiger, or even Fox. But again it could be anyone.Alex wrote: So can we do this, too? Make up a story for the fantasy newspaper and post it as a new thread?
