Lots of possibilities. It was a really busy century. Louis and Richelieu in France, and maybe some Three Musketeers stuff. Religious persecution and the final collapse of the effective monarchy in England. 30 years war in Germany. Galileo's trials in Italy. Spanish Inquisition. War between Sweden and Poland, they were both "Great Powers"! Transylvania was a real country! EarlyWeirdGamer wrote:Where in the world do you plan to set this 1600's RP exactly?
Yea that's what I did with my neighborhood. Though i didn't get a response so I just assumed some of the answers and posted my neighborhood 3 posts ago. Seriously guys is my neighborhood good or not? I don't want to play in it I just want to watch other people play in it so I can feel good knowing somebody enjoys something I made.Roarin wrote:You just needa PM an RP mod
I know. Most of the details aren't final. I'm perfectly willing to change stuff if the mods ask for it. Though I don't think I will do this if I have to play in it. I'm not a role playing kinda of guy. I kinda of selfish in that everything has to be perfect if I'm playing anything. I just want somebody to enjoy something I made.RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:I think it's actually preferred that a neighborhood's creator plays in the neighborhood, but I'm not sure how strict a requirement it is.
also, no response does not mean a yes. just cause the mod hasn't gotten a chance to respond doesn't mean you can start a neighborhood. luckily, you didn't actually go ahead and start a thread for it, so you're not breaking any rules
I choose argent. He's the only one on my friend list who I know RPs.Hotep the psychic wrote:The one thing that at least need s to be known finaly is whos gonna be the moderator for the neighborhood.
YES. We don't want people making neighborhoods they aren't actually going to play in.Legotron123 wrote:1. If you make a neighborhood do you have to play in it? If so I can't do this because I am TERRIBLE at staying in-character.
I think you can get it down to the state level, but most of them stick to a region of the country they're in, like the Midwestern US for Brookshire Meadows, which may be in Missouri.2. What's the level on how specific we can be with our neighborhoods location. Ie.
Yeah, I mean, you can have a neighborhood with characters who make scifi contraptions but also encounter magical stuff.3. Is it possible for something to be both sci-fi AND fantasy?
If I'm going to be running my own RP I can't handle being a mod as well. I wasn't sure I'd even have the time to do any RPing, and I didn't think about going further than that until I was able to keep up with that.Legotron123 wrote:I choose argent. War between Sweden and Poland, they were both "Great Powers"! Transylvania was a real country! Earlyinvasionscolonization of North America. Collapse of the Ming dynasty. Japan was getting really weird and isolationist, but I don't really want to do Japan. Later on things settled down a bit in Europe and you had all kinds of scientific progress, plus they invented sparkling wine.
Keep in mind that this RP is about the animals living among the humans at this time. Could have a "mouse world" scaled scenario set among the rats on a pirate ship? That would be really hard to GM.Hotep the psychic wrote:Dont forget early pirates. These guys took over trade ships in the seas around china and england
