100, it cannot be the texture itself, must be a filter or something. I'll try deleting single files now, as you suggested. Minecraft should take the corresponding standart file if the other one is missing.

102, that was somewhat anti-climactic, the '100' took a bit longer than what I have expected.

What if it was the game caches? You might have deleted one of the texture files already. XD

107, it worked, thanks. there was a new lighting-file in a folder I did not look in yet. that was the first file I deleted and now I am happy.

113, thanks! What have they done? That folder only coutains the sprites of the moon, the sun, the clouds, the rain and the snow. and now also the lighting... but not anymore for me. Would it have been to much to put this also into the other folder with the blurs, etc. ?
