That makes sense. Especially with the look he has on his face at the end of "The Mall". Though one has to wonder why Peanut ended up taking Grape instead of Max.
In something completely unrelated... I just came to an epiphany.
I was reading through some comment archives here, and came across this gem:

So fluffy help me if i don't see a Maxwell/Grape or Peanut/Tarot marriage soon... *Starts writing fanfics*
It's from "
A Respite in the Country".
Seeing that now, in the context of King and Bailey's engagement, makes me wonder. I know I mentioned in jest the idea that Bino could try (and fail) to marry Sasha in hopes of showing King up. But what if some of the other pet couples in Babylon Gardens legit got engaged? Could the push for legitimate pet marriages end up being part of the ultimate resolution of Keene's quandry over reconciliation of humans and animals?
And a good sideshow to that: What if Fido comes out as being in love with Sabrina? Or somebody else (Bailey? Sabrina? I know King wouldn't do it.) spills the beans?
