So I had another commissioner so yay!
He's a sheep moth, or say the commissioner says so, but he's a moth at least.

Re: Art Thread
Possibly the first piece of art that I'm truly happy with.
Title is, fittingly enough, "I'm your huckleberry." If you don't know that quote, shame on you...
Anyways, it was done for a friend over on FA-- drawing my fursona over and over again got boring.
What do you guys think?
Oh, and by the way, the gun's a top-break Smith & Wesson No. 3 Schofield revolver. It was far superior (IMHO) to the classic Colt Single Action Army; the Smith's more than twice as fast to reload and it has bigger, clearer sights.

I sometimes get bored at work. The below image was sketch-doodled in roughly a minute.

Work doodles can sometimes turn out surprisingly well. Of course, depending on your work environment, explaining them to co-workers can be interesting.

Re: Art Thread
Hey, that's pretty good Arjay. Remember, you're your own worst critic.
I don't draw, but I have done a few photoshop-ish type things in Paint.net. I have had times when I asked someone what they thought and they were blown away by what I did, and all I could see in it was fault here, fault there, the entire thing still looked horrible to me.
If it's not up to your standard of where you want it to be, then don't just say "it's good enough" and leave it, but don't think that it's bad. Always get other peoples opinions before you decide it's bad.
If you would like a truly unbiased opinion on something, send me a PM and I'll be glad to give you one.

its not the quality that depresses me, its the story that developed in my head when I drew it

Hmmm...
I don't know what you could think of while drawing that that could depress you.

Re: Art Thread
backstory, emotion of subject matter, additional characters and their situations, that sort of thing.
I also do a lot of writing so that just happens whenever i draw something, no matter what the drawing is.

I did some small practice for using adjustment layers for shading.

Hey. It's time for more of my mom's work. This time, it's one of her non-portrait projects: Chair Styling
She made this for me for an early birthday present.
Here's the front
The fabric and the clocks on the back were store bought, She did the logo and the time vortex on the legs of the chair.
A closeup of the seat front
A couple closeups of the back
The back of the chair
a closed view
and a closeup of the back
not pictured are the numerous tally marks on the underside of the seat.
as before, more of my mom's work can be found here
and she can also be commissioned for portraits or chairs there.

an art thread you say? Meh, sure! Why not!
Heres a pic I drew this summer, its an oldie, but I still consider it one of my best:
Also, Some Spyro Fan Art:
And a little thing I conjured up a while back on bad paper:
There, now that you all know what my art looks like, feel free to criticize it to your hearts content XP
