Spam bots are also softwares that are being used to advertise or just spam those who use communicators. They're highly annoying especially if someone who uses that software has added your E-mail/personal number and there's almost nothing you can do to stop it.

I wouldn't call some of my friends that don't know my gender strangers. I'll admit I'm kind of a special case, though.Wanderer wrote:I wouldn't date a stranger.
Not like I have any desire to date them.

Spam bots spam, but they don't accept my offers of Spam.
Kudos to the mods for suppressing the bots in the comic comments, but it seems there is a new one...

I don't know this topic belongs here but...
I've seen a small box of advertisment coming up from bottom right corner of both of IE and chrome. I ran all the malaware/virus detection but there is not positive sign of it. I've Tried to live with it but it some times get highly unappropriate.
And seems like I'm not only one having this kind of problem.
Sometimes advertisement asks me for date with Rick Griffin's comic
Ahhh Dinner with comicbook?
No I don't want your Graamically incorrectz advertsiment
Help..

At least for Chrome, you can use an ad block add-on. I think IE has the same availability. Just be sure to unblock housepetscomic.com and all your other favorite websites!

Re: Chat Thread 38: You Guys Are Old
I would totally do that.texascat018 wrote:Ahhhhh have a dinner with comicbook??
But as far as the problem...
I would say you need to get something out of your hard drive.
I had similar problems when I tried to download Paint.Net somewhere. I didn't get the program I wanted, but a bunch of other... not nasty stuff, I don't think any of it would hurt my computer, but it all defiantly affected it. It was running slow, whenever clicked on Google Chrome, it brought up some really bad search sight that said it was powered by Google but I don't think it was. It would connect random words to adds and I was just like STOP DOING THAT!!
I had to spend an hour and a half looking up how to fix everything and actually fixing it.

Adblock, problem solved.
Also, go to programs and features and uninstall some things.
Sometimes the advertisements are due to you installing some useless program.
Just some random question: does anyone here use Blackle?

The idea of being so ambivalent as to not care the gender of a possible date is an odd idea, but I do like the concept of finding someone so absolutely awesome, their gender is almost irrelevant.VariousPeople wrote:Words words, the concept of dating someone who's gender you don't know, more words...
Also, be careful with random apps and adds that start showing up. Even if they look innocent enough, they can often come with malware and other nasties.
Re: Chat Thread 38: You Guys Are Old
You don't even have to be a computer expert to fix that.
I'm pretty much computer illiterate because I haven't bothered to learn anything.

There is a 12 year old in the RP section and lots of 13 year olds in fact.
I'm definitely the youngest here.
I am not even born yet, you know. I'm -1 years old.

It's more the idea that someone would be into both so it's not particularly important which gender their crush is.DingoVolf wrote:The idea of being so ambivalent as to not care the gender of a possible date is an odd idea, but I do like the concept of finding someone so absolutely awesome, their gender is almost irrelevant.VariousPeople wrote:Words words, the concept of dating someone who's gender you don't know, more words...

In my case, it was less about ambivalence than being willing to take a risk. = PDingoVolf wrote:The idea of being so ambivalent as to not care the gender of a possible date is an odd idea, but I do like the concept of finding someone so absolutely awesome, their gender is almost irrelevant.
Well, I guess this also applied.Sleet wrote:It's more the idea that someone would be into both so it's not particularly important which gender their crush is.

No I don't think that's really a term. I think that's just being bi.

Time zones. They want ratings so they broadcast when Americans will watch most.

I heard the other version that they cared more about ads they had to air xo
But I guess it still sucks a bit to not show something live. Because... well... it's like you get re-heated food.

Re: Chat Thread 38: You Guys Are Old
reheated calamari is digusting compared to regular calamari... still tasty though.
Re: Chat Thread 38: You Guys Are Old
I had fried calamari once. My parents tricked me. They pulled one of those, "Just try it." things when I asked what it was. It was pretty good, but I still almost gagged when they told me what it really was. XD

Some things taste better when reheated if you do it right, and some you should never even bother saving if you don't finish.
I have had both.

Re: Chat Thread 38: You Guys Are Old
That's true. But that also depends do you reheat your food by using oven or microwave. And somehow I prefer oven then micro, even if it's slower.

Sometimes it's better to use the microwave. (In my opinion) But yea, the oven is probably better 99% of the time. I'm just too lazy to use it.
