Don't be rude for any reason please because being rude is rude.

Positivity and a realistic outlook aren't irreconcilable. Hope is a pretty big motivator, and if we never thought we could succeed we wouldn't get a lot done. The problem occurs when people overdo the "positive outlook", so that instead of using it to try to find a solution to their problems they think that being positive in and of itself will fix everything. Whether you're saying "everything always works out eventually" or "I'm powerless, what's the point?", you're still placing responsibility for what happens to you to the world rather than on yourself.

Personally I don't spend much time thinking about it. I just kinda say "whelp I'd better do this stuff" and then I fall in a dumpster because I have wobbly knees and live next to a dumpster warehouse.

Well that's not a problem for me. I seriously don't know when I said that being optimistic will fix everything, so I'm gonna guess everybody is assuming that I feel that way.

Hey guys, I don't feel that way.

If it's not a real track team name, then we need to form a track team and name it that.

but Psykeout said that that's what the term 'optimism' says to him. Optimism and Pessimism are extremes, and for the most part in this kind of thing, middle ground is usually the better way to go. Just because someone isn't optimistic doesn't mean they're pessimistic, just like not being pessimistic doesn't automatically mean pessimistic.

I missed my chance to choose which dorm I want to be at next year, so now I have to hope the college can find a place for me, but if I don't go in there and make sure there's absolutely no way that I won't get housing, I may not get housing, so I have to be worried about that to make sure.
I have a class I'm failing. I could sit back and hope that my final project and exam will bring up my grade, but if I depend too much on that, I'll likely fail so I have to go in and talk with the professor about my programming assignments and find anywhere he can give me higher points so I'm more likely to pass.

and finally, hi House who I IM with on Skype on a pretty much daily basis.

Nor frigidly chilled.

Don't worry though; I'm not an instigator or anything. He starts it.

Psykeout is just being dumb. "IRL" is chatspeak (which you should never use) for "in real life."

I typically say "____ you I'm a cat irl" which is something a friend of mine says and it's funny because it's dumb. but I can't say ____ in the chat thread. And I didn't want to say "I'm a cat irl" because I realized that it would probably sound like I was making fun of Dub, so I decided to pick a dumber animal.

I actually am a sloth I think probably. Here's a picture.

In other news, I was clearing out my recycle bin and I accidentally clicked "Restore all items"

Now there are random pieces of junk floating around on my computer.

Saying that in real life sounds like a bit of risk. People around you probably think you're proclaiming to the world that you're a weeaboo.

When I set up a forum for the discussion of I'm making a censor that changes "IRL" into "Earl"
Not because I think the phrase "IRL" is a huge deal, just because it would be amusing

at least all the junk is where it belongs. My folders are very organized.
that just means there's a thousand places it could possible be.
most of it went to my desktop.
