I love that song. It's my vote for the best big radio song of the '00s.

This song was a hit when it came out, but it was given second winds by the movies "Wayne's World" and "Toy Story 3".

Here is the same song I posted above, but this time it is covered by GWAR!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGj77FVXNGY
Six Feet Under - "The Day The Dead Walked"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxctsW0APIY
Mortician - "Zombie Apocalypse"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiOJ2P_jvnU
We might as well post songs about zombies, I did set a bit of a precedent with all those werewolf songs. Monsters and heavy metal just go great together!

I find that alot of people that aren't that into punk still like the misfits. Probably has something to do with the fact that Glen Dnazig has an incredible voice.
The Gorillaz: M1A1
this isn't about zombies but it does sample the opening of day of the dead which is pretty awesome. Plus it's an excuse to post a gorillaz song I really dig.

Can't say I cared for the 6 feet under or mortician links, they just sound like Cannibal Corpse with worse vocals.Radio Blue Heart wrote:I love the Misfits!Seth wrote:Are we posting songs about zombies!!!???!?!?!

Chris Barnes from Six Feet Under used to be the lead singer of Cannibal Corpse.
Other than the "Day of the Dead" was an awesome movie! On top of that M1A1 is the alphanumerical designation for a number of good zombie eradicating weapons.
This is a song from a less conventional zombie movie. The film is "Demons/Dèmoni" and the zombies in it are like the creatures in "28 Days Later" if they had fangs, claws and were smart enough to use simple weapons.
Accept - "Fast as a Shark"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkiuJg5HhtM
The scene in question is possibly the most METAL thing that I have ever seen committed to film. The hero of the film rescues the heroine and then proceeds to ride through on a Kawasaki motorcycle, wielding a samurai sword, killing the monsters to this song!!!
Here is the clip in question. Fair warning, in does contain violence and gore!

I didn't know Chris Barnes was in Six feet under. Personally I prefer George Fisher's vocals but some of their stuff with Barnes was great.Radio Blue Heart wrote:Seth wrote:I find that alot of people that aren't that into punk still like the misfits. This probably the most misheard song in history.

Also, since I have been watching a bunch on giant monster movies, this song needs to be posted.
