See, the problem is in that knowing that I don't have a censor handy to put the kibosh on anything I could have possibly done. Since I don't have a censor's blessing, you don't end up with possibilities of things I was PLANNING on doing but did not. You can't say "What! Why did the censors quash THAT?!" and feel justified in it balancing out when something gets past them.

I mostly wasted two hilarious jokes like that anyway.

I volunteer to beta read the comic. I'll let everything through and tell you you're babying your audience when the jokes aren't dancing close enough to the line.

Okay stop.

This only touches the PG line. Seriously. I could name several dozen Saturday morning cartoons where this could or has occurred. Want me to start?
And I could name several "PG-rated" stuff that gets worse than this. In sitcoms, "PG" means "let's see how well we can put dirty adult images into people's heads without actually breaking the rules for a PG rating".

I don't think going by what other people do is a good gauge for whether it's okay.

There's a big difference between mostly wasted and all wasted. Mostly wasted is still slightly usable.

it's called a setting precedent. it happens all the time in law, why shouldn't it happen with censorship. especially when the rating is based purely on the judgement of Rick, who is going off of TV and movie censorship.

If it hasn't been used yet, it can't be wasted in my opinion. If the bottle was opened, but never used, it can go bad, but never wasted!

a few points
Duchess is advanced naked.
King in panel 6 looks more soulless than he did last week while sitting on Duchess's lap, but the rest of the comic overshadows the creepy.

This isn't just your average, everyday naked. This is... *close-up* advanced naked.

Spongebob references aside, I hadn't realized that Duchess was advanced naked before you pointed that out.

And, um, sean... how do I put this lightly? If you get a warning, it's because you failed to read the last page and a half of back-and-forths.

Well, of course. Who did you think I ripped that joke off of?

Me and Karishad? We go way back. Okay, so he was usually telling me to bug off... but I enjoyed our time together nonetheless.

It is funny. The funniest strip in a while.

You know for all her ranting against doing human things, especially having boyfriend/girlfriends. What she is doing here (or at least what the whip and Handcuffs imply her intentions are) is very human.

Oh. Oh my. This is probably the first strip I've laughed out loud to in a long while, in good part due to the surprise factor. Even after the 'love whip' bit, I did not see this coming. At all. And it was amazing. xD

Proposed alternate title for this strip: Time To Play Limbo with the Rating. =P

Great strip.
Haters gonna hate.
Flapjack, Chowder, Cow and Chiken, Johnny Bravo did much worse than this strip. Calm down, people.

When do you guys expect to have one of those Downfall scene rants applied to this particular strip. I mean they did it for when people thought Rick was turning Housepets into a full blown fantasy comic.
