Sorrow:
Joy:
The day was coming close to being over with.
I was in my multimedia class, working on the yearbook, and I asked the professor to play some music.
She plugged in her iPhone and started to play Pandora Radio.
A few songs later, Richard said, "I've heard this song like a thousand times."
The professor said, "It's the song that is played a lot when people dance 'The Shag.'"
For those of you who don't know, "The Shag" is the South Carolina State Dance.
Why we need a State Dance, I don't know.
Also, the name of the dance has nothing to do with the sexual term.
Anyway, we were all talking and Richard tells us a story about his dad.
He said that when his dad was in college, he walked up to this British girl at a party.
They start talking and his dad asks, "Do you know how to Shag?"
She slaps him in the face and leaves.
After hearing this, I almost died laughing.
He said that his dad didn't really think before he asked her that, but I know his dad and I think that he might have known exactly what he was asking.
