most shows with an ensemble cast have that variable straight man, I believe. Some are the straight man more often than others, but lin Friends, Scrubs, and Seinfeld, there was no one straight man.

I kind of liked the lack of the straight man in Napolean dynamite, the whole thing had a crazy manic energy to it because everything was so ridiculous.

I haven't seen it in years and don't remember much about it.

I actually rather dislike it when there's a single delegated straight man. They come off flat. I don't mean there can't be a more sensible personality in a bunch, but sometimes their character can be summed up completely by the term "straight man" and that's no good for a plot.

Biggie and 2pac were the two biggest rappers of the 90's, both were shot within a year of each other
Kurt Cobain was the lead singer of nirvana until he killed himself.
