I think that Housepets! readers are probably the nicest, most sane forum members on the internet.

Thank you, Rook! It does hold true that Housepets readers have the nicest people in them.

I'm sure the issue of Sleet's gender has been brought up and answered multiple times, could we please stop caring about his gender and appreciate Sleet as an individual.

SOME of us can figure out it's gender.

Also it's less frustrating if you just don't worry about it.

They say those that look directly into an imploding hug go mad and then explode.
So nobody knows

It's definitely always on, but the exposure and focus are always too blurry to really tell.
They've found tracks in the leftovers though.

Also I never spell definitely right and Chrome's spellcheck is never able to recognize deffinately.

that's odd, i hit the = key nearly exclusively as a typo for the backspace key.

de-finite-ly. That's how I remember it.

Anybody else find the =/+ key to be placed inconvenient close to the backspace?

that's how i remember it to. but after years of spelling it that way mistakenly, it becomes a habit so if i'm not thinking when I type then that's how it comes out.

I was never able to spell "maybe" until I was like 11
I always wrote "mabye" until I realized that it was just "may be".

Also I always misspell separate as "seperate" because that looks closer to the way I pronounce it.

I'm 18 and I still have trouble spelling words with double letters like "efficient" and "horrifying"
I also can never spell "rhythm" right. :/

Gotta love spell check. :P

I'm certainly not perfect like Sleet, but I've been a pretty efficient speller from a young age. I got into a strange habit of spelling every word a person said in conversations with me, conversations with others, even things like church services and school events. And because of that I was almost constantly spelling various words in my mind for quite a few years. I don't really do it much anymore (I don't really have any need to anymore), but it definitely helped me with my spelling over the years.

Because of that, I can't say I've really ever had consistent trouble with any words in particular. Though I certainly still have the occasional brain-lapse where I'll completely forget how a word is spelled, after which I'll have to scratch my head and wonder how I managed to forget that word.

I blame spell check for my bad spelling, hehe. I've been using forums and word documents since I was 12, so it just became a habit just to right click on a misspelled word. Grammar and spelling have always been my weakness in school, too.
